The national seminar drew over one thousand participants the largest gathering the NNCSJI has ever witnessed. Dr. Abdullahi Modibbo, Head, Department of Political Science, Nasarawa State University, served as the chairman of the occasion; Dr. Alhassan M. Muhammad, the national chairman, NNCSJI was special quest of honour; Dr. Abdullahi Mohammad Yamma, chairman Nigeria Committee on the Study of Self Reliance was chief host. Dr. Saddiqque Abba was represented by Mal. Abdulrahman Umar, Mr. Nicholas Igwenagu was also represented; Mall. Buhari and Mr. Usman Abu of the university of Abuja and Nasarawa State Universityrespectively served as the masters of ceremony.
Papers were presented which was followed by questions and answers. The papers presented include: The Exploits of President Kim Il Sung, who built Socialist Korea, presented by Dr. Alhassan Mamman Muhammad; President Kim Il Sung is the peoples'benevolent father, presented by Dr. Saddiqque Abba, Chairman, Nigerian Study Group on Juche Philosophy; Juche Idea and Development of Korea's Economy, presented by Dr. Nicholas Igwenagu, Chairman, Nigeria Study Group on Kimjongilism; Kim Jong Il and Impregnable Military Fortress, presented by Dr. Ahmed Lawan Bazza, Chairman, Nigeria Study Group on Songun Politics; and True Nature of Nuclear Issue on the Korean Peninsular and the Way of its Solution, presented by Dr. Abdullahi Muhammad Yamma, Chairman, Nigeria Study Group on Self Reliance. At the end of the seminar, a communique was adopted and signed and sent to HE, the leader of DPR of Korea.
