Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The dear
respected Kim Jong Un in his work "Children of Revolutionary Martyrs
Should Become Dependable Backbone of Songun Revolution That Gives Steady
Continuity to Bloodline of Mangyongdae, Bloodline of Mt. Paektu" clarified
the responsibilities and duties of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang
Pan Sok Revolutionary School.
Kim Jong Un said that at present when the work
of accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche has entered the new
historical phase, the basic duty is to firmly prepare all the students to be
the pillars and backbone forces of the Songun revolution who will give steady
continuity to the bloodline of Mangyongdae, the bloodline of Mt. Paektu.
He called for tirelessly educating students so
that they may continue bringing into bloom the flowers of revolution by following
in the footsteps of their parents and thus make sure that they absolutely trust
in the party and the leader, protect their high prestige in every way and
defend them at the risk of their lives.
The schools should make sure that all students
may absolutely trust in and follow only the party and the leader who brought
them up and become men and women strong in faith and the sense of obligation
who do not abandon the red flag of revolution and the glorious flag of the
party to the end though they may lay down their lives, he stressed.
It is imperative to effectively conduct
education in Kim Jong Il's patriotism so that students may become true patriots
of the Songun era who value even a blade of grass and a single tree and tend
them with care from their childhood, boundlessly love the country and its
people and devote their all to the prosperity of the socialist country and its
people's happiness, he noted.
He called for directing efforts to education to
prepare students as revolutionary talents possessed of a high level of
scientific and technological knowledge.
He went on:
Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School should raise
the quality of education in economic subjects and bring up all students to be
women revolutionaries of Songun era and true daughters of the party who can
successfully perform the core role in the drive for building a great Paektusan
nation.
Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan
Sok Revolutionary School should exert great efforts for education to help
students acquire basic military knowledge to suit the mission as the centers
for training reserve cadres of the Korean People's Army.
It is important to spruce up research rooms for
subjects and drill grounds as required by the times, the purposes of education
at the schools and characteristic features of students at different ages and
make the existing material and technological foundation for education pay off
in practice.
The teachers of the schools should take good
care of the students' living as their real parents would do and make them
regard schools as their dear old homes and warm cradles. They should become
real parents of students before being educators.
The students of the schools should always bear
deep in mind the profound trust and care shown by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and
Kim Jong Il and make redoubled efforts to become pillars firmly supporting
Songun Korea.
The graduates from the schools should become
core forces and play the role of pioneers in giving steady continuity to the
bloodline of Mangyongdae, the bloodline of Mt. Paektu as befitting the sons and
daughters of Mangyongdae and Mt. Paektu who grew up under the care of the three
commanders of Mt. Paektu. -0-
Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The dear
respected Kim Jong Un in his work "Children of Revolutionary Martyrs
Should Become Dependable Backbone of Songun Revolution That Gives Steady
Continuity to Bloodline of Mangyongdae, Bloodline of Mt. Paektu" referred
to the fact that the revolutionary schools were founded and developed under the
care of the great persons of Mt. Paektu.
Noting that the schools are Kim Il Sung-Kim
Jong Il revolutionary schools which were founded and developed under the care
of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and are bases for training backbone of the
Songun revolution, he went on:
Generalissimo Kim Il Sung saw to it that the
revolutionary school was built in time-honored Mangyongdae to train children of
martyrs who laid down their lives for the revolution though he had a mountain
of work to do for building new Korea in the liberated country.
President Kim Il Sung made up his mind to build
the revolutionary school in the difficult period right after the liberation of
the country when he had nothing but an empty knapsack he brought from Mt.
Paektu. This courageous decision could be made only by the President, who had
the noblest revolutionary sense of obligation and warmest love for the younger
generation as his natural disposition.
The President made sure that children of
revolutionary martyrs who had been wandering with no one to support them were
brought together with much effort and brought up in the cradles of loving care
called revolutionary schools. Since that period till the last moments of his
great life the President showed loving care for the children.
Anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk was a
tender-hearted mother who took deep care of the children of the schools as
their real mothers would do. She was a great teacher who led the children with
great care so that they might grow up to be successors to the revolution.
Kim Jong Un recalled that Generalissimo Kim
Jong Il, when he was among children of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School in his
childhood, implanted such mainstay of faith as trusting in and following the
President only into their minds.
Generalissimo Kim Jong Il spared nothing to
build the revolutionary schools into the centers for training the backbone
forces of the Korean revolution and warm cradles for their children, Kim Jong
Un noted, stressing:
It was thanks to the profound care of Kim Jong
Il that the revolutionary schools were always bright with lights even during
the Arduous March and the students there could stoutly grow up to be able
workers of the revolution who would shoulder upon themselves the future of the
country, while studying hard and cheerfully playing with nothing to desire more
in the world. -0-
Pyongyang, October 13 (KCNA) -- The dear
respected Kim Jong Un on Friday sent a letter "Children of Revolutionary
Martyrs Should Become Dependable Backbone of Songun Revolution That Gives
Steady Continuity to Bloodline of Mangyongdae, Bloodline of Mt. Paektu" to
the teachers and students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok
Revolutionary School on the occasion of their 65th anniversary.
The letter was conveyed to the participants in
the meeting held to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the schools that day.
In the letter he said the schools are Kim Il
Sung-Kim Jong Il revolutionary schools which were founded and developed under
the care of the great persons of Mt. Paektu and are bases for training backbone
of the Songun revolution.
Referring to the undying leadership feats of
the great persons of Mt. Paektu associated with the schools, he said the
schools have trained large forces playing a core and pivotal role in the sacred
struggle for defending the country and achieving the prosperity of the country
over the past 65 years.
Noting that the schools have very important
responsibilities and duties to fulfill, he indicated basic duties, tasks and
ways.
The basic duty is to firmly prepare all the
students to be the pillars and backbone forces of the Songun revolution who
will give steady continuity to the bloodline of Mangyongdae, the bloodline of
Mt. Paektu, he noted, and continued:
It is important to strengthen ideological
education of students.
The schools should tirelessly educate students
so that they may continue bringing into bloom the flowers of revolution by following
in the footsteps of their parents and thus make sure that they absolutely trust
in the party and the leader, protect their high prestige in every way and
defend them at the risk of their lives.
The schools should deepen education in faith
and the sense of obligation in various forms and by diverse methods to suit the
ages of students and their mental qualities so that they may absolutely trust
in and follow only the party and the leader who brought them up and become men
and women strong in faith and the sense of obligation who do not abandon the
red flag of revolution and the glorious flag of the party to the end though
they may lay down their lives.
It is imperative to effectively conduct
education in Kim Jong Il's patriotism so that students may become true patriots
of the Songun era who value even a blade of grass and a single tree and tend
them with care from their childhood, boundlessly love the country and its
people and devote their all to the prosperity of the socialist country and its
people's happiness.
The schools should channel efforts into the
education in collectivism and morality and thus prepare all students as genuine
revolutionaries and human beings of conscience who think of their organization
and collective before anything else, ready to sacrifice themselves for their
organization and collective and personify beautiful morality and ethics in the
era of Songun.
They should direct efforts to education to
prepare students as revolutionary talents possessed of a high level of
scientific and technological knowledge.
It is important to further strengthen the
education in basic science including mathematics.
The schools should pay special attention to
intensifying computer education.
It is necessary to channel efforts into the
education in foreign languages so as to help students master at least one
foreign language and speak foreign languages fluently.
It is imperative to exert great efforts for
education to help students acquire basic military knowledge to suit the mission
as the centers for training reserve cadres of the Korean People's Army.
It is necessary to strengthen the education in
arts and sports.
It is important to spruce up research rooms for
subjects and drill grounds as required by the times, the purposes of education
at the schools and characteristic features of students at different ages and
make the existing material and technological foundation for education pay off
in practice.
In order to bring about a fundamental change in
education it is necessary to further raise the responsibility and role of the
teachers of the schools.
The teachers of the schools should take good
care of the students' living as their real parents would do and make them
regard schools as their dear old homes and warm cradles. They should become
real parents of students before being educators.
The students of the schools are sons and
daughters of the Workers' Party of Korea and my children who share blood with
the party.
The students of the schools should always bear
deep in mind the profound trust and care shown by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung
and Kim Jong Il and make redoubled efforts to become pillars firmly supporting
Songun Korea.
They should study hard, valuing time under the
slogan "Let Us Study for Korea!" put up by Kim Jong Il in the period
when he was among students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and prepare
themselves to be competent revolutionary talents who will play a big role in
the struggle to translate the desire of the Generalissimos into reality.
The graduates from the schools should become
core forces and play the role of pioneers in giving steady continuity to the
bloodline of Mangyongdae, the bloodline of Mt. Paektu as befitting the sons and
daughters of Mangyongdae and Mt. Paektu who grew up under the care of the three
commanders of Mt. Paektu.
They should play a pivotal role in upholding
the Songun revolutionary leadership of the party at their posts.
Kim Jong Un expressed firm belief that the
schools will successfully train the sons and daughters of Mangyongdae as
reliable backbone forces who will shoulder upon themselves the work of the
party, state and army as required by the idea and intention of the party and
that all children of revolutionary martyrs will become vanguard fighters
remaining true to the Songun leadership of the party. -0-
