Kim
Jong Un, first secretary of
the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence
Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, together with
service personnel of the KPA enjoyed an art performance given by the State
Merited Chorus to mark the 62nd anniversary of the victory in the great
Fatherland Liberation War.
Kim
Jong Un appeared at the
auditorium with Ri Sol Ju.
In the performance which started with serial
songs "July 27, Our Victory Day", its performers sang high praises of
the exploits of the great Generalissimo Kim Il Sung, who aroused with his
indomitable pluck and matchless guts the army and people of the DPRK to a
nation-wide resistance for defending the country from huge aggressor forces'
invasion and wiping out the enemy and created the myth of heroic Korea's war
victory with his Juche-based military idea, superb strategies and tactics and
distinguished leadership ability, thus honorably defending the freedom and
independence of the country.
Through presentation of wartime songs, they
lauded the spirit of the participants in the war who bravely fought for the
freedom and independence of the country, united close around the great leader
and the great Workers' Party of Korea.
The numbers of the performance included male
choruses "Ode to General Kim Jong Un" and "Parade of
Glory".
Appreciating the successful performance, Kim
Jong Un expressed expectation and belief that the creators and artistes of the
State Merited Chorus would as ever conduct their revolutionary and militant art
activities to more inspiringly encourage the service personnel and civilians of
the DPRK in the showdown with the U.S. and the all-out struggle for the victory
in building a thriving nation.
Among the audience were Hwang Pyong So, Pak
Yong Sik, Ri Yong Gil and other commanding officers of the KPA.
