Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of
Korea, chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and supreme commander of
the Korean People's Army, gave field guidance to the Kangdong Precision Machine
Plant.
He went round various parts of the plant, including
the newly-built products exhibition hall and processing shop, to learn in
detail about its production and updating and the quality of products.
He said that the exhibition hall has been
built as a splendid structure and that he likes everything displayed there as
varieties of exhibits look nice, easy to operate and very efficient, adding
that precision machine processing technology is at the world-level. He looked
round the newly-built room for disseminating science and technology.
An effective use of the room is an important
work to thoroughly implement the Party's policy of making all the people well
versed in science and technology, he said, stressing the need for the employees
to make it part of their everyday life to acquire the knowledge of cutting-edge
science and technology so that they may steadily improve their technical skills
and broaden their outlooks and thus become personnel possessed of modern
science and technology.
He toured the bean processing factory, Ponghwa
Health Complex and dwelling houses.
It is good to turn out varieties of soy
bean-based products after building bean sprouts processing factory, bean curd
processing factory, etc., he noted.
He said he was pleased with everything at the
health complex having bath facilities, swimming pool, barber's, beauty parlor,
table tennis room, gym-cum clinic, dining room, etc. It has been built in such
a way that it looks bright, cozy and comfortable, he noted, adding that it was
a good idea that the ceiling was built with glass. He was very pleased that the
employees of the plant and their families have become able to lead a cultured
life like urban people.
Saying that employees of the plant would like
the dwelling houses built in an impeccable style and fitted with quality and
attractive furniture, he told officials to let settlers move to new houses on
the occasion of the birth anniversary of leader
Kim Jong Il. Appreciating high enthusiasm of
the workers at the plant to boost the production, he set forth tasks facing the
plant. He had a photo session with the officials and employees of the plant.
Accompanying him were Jo Yong Won and Yu Jin,
vice department directors of the C.C., WPK.
