Kim
Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and chairman of the
State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, arrived
in Beijing, the capital of the People's Republic of China.
The
plane carrying him landed at Beijing Capital International Airport at 10 a.m.
Beijing time.
Present
at the airport to greet him were Wang Huning, member of the Standing Committee
of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of
China (CPC) and member of the CPC Central Committee Secretariat, Cai Qi, member
of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the
Beijing Municipal Party Committee, Song Tao, head of the International Liaison
Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to
the DPRK.
Also
present there was Ji Jae Ryong, DPRK ambassador to China.
National
flags of the DPRK and China were hoisted and a guard of honor of the three
services of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and a military band lined up
at the airport.
When
Kim Jong Un together with his wife Ri Sol Ju got off the plane for his personal
use, children presented bunches of flowers to them.
The
respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un exchanged warm greetings with senior party
and government officials of China.
The
senior officials of China warmly welcomed Kim Jong Un visiting China again,
with deep respect and trust for him.
He
expressed thanks to the exceptional reception and hospitality of the Chinese
party and government and got on a car for his personal use.
The
car carrying Kim Jong Un and Ri Sol Ju arrived at the Diaoyutai State
Guesthouse, the lodging quarters, escorted by motorcycles.
He
was guided to the lodging quarters by Wang Huning and other senior officials
who came to greet him.
