Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, had a photo session with the participants in the celebrations of the 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA) on February 9.
Present
there were Ri Pyong Chol, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and
secretary of the C.C., WPK, Ri Yong Gil, secretary of the C.C., WPK, and Kang
Sun Nam, Pak Su Il and Jong Kyong Thaek, commanding officers of the military.
When
the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un appeared, all the participants, raising
enthusiastic cheers of "Hurrah!", extended gratitude to the respected
Supreme Commander who highly appreciated the patriotic loyalty of the service
personnel of the People's Army striving to defend the forefront for
safeguarding the country, revolution and people and invited them to the
celebrations of the significant Day of Army Founding to show great love and
affection over and over.
Kim
Jong Un warmly waved back to the participants in the celebrations.
Saying
that all the precious gains, everything on this land are associated with noble
efforts and costly devotion of our revolutionary army before anything else, he
noted that the long history of the Korean revolution shines with victory and
glory thanks to the undying feats of our People's Army which has kept the
loyalty to the idea and cause of the WPK as faith.
He
said that the ever-victorious army--this should be the eternal name of the KPA
and that the glorious 75-year-long history of the revolutionary army which has
upheld the invincibility and mightiness of Juche Korea with arms, regarding as
the greatest wealth the precious honor only the revolutionary armed forces of
our Party have kept, should be carried forward forever.
He
had a significant photo session with the participants, expressing expectation
and belief that the heroic Korean People's Army would remain faithful to its
sacred cause to the last despite all challenges, always sharing life and death
with the Party, the country and the people.
