performance "Arirang", Kim Il Sung Prize winner, on Friday on the
occasion of the anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.

The performers
represented the sky-high spirit of all service personnel and people dynamically
pushing forward the building of a thriving nation at the "speed of Masik
Pass," true to the leadership of Kim Jong Un, with beautiful rhythms,
artistic rendition and dynamic gymnastics. The performance fully reflected the
unshakable will of the service personnel and people of the DPRK to eternally
glorify the great history of the victory in the war by protecting the dignity
of the great Paektusan nation and meeting the challenges of the enemies through
a merciless retaliatory sacred war.
The audience was deeply impressed by the chapter of friendship Arirang as it dealt with the exploits the great Generalissimos performed by recording shining pages in the history of DPRK-China and DPRK-Russia friendship and the will of the Korean people to boost solidarity with the world progressive people, guided by the idea of independence, peace and friendship.

gathered to watch fireworks of jubilation and joy.

the Monument to Victorious War has turned into a large open-air museum as it

commander of Mt. Paektu.

indicative of the fact that the victory in the war is the victory common to the
Chinese people who helped the DPRK at the cost of blood under the banner of "resisting
America, aiding Korea, safeguarding the home and defending the motherland"
and the world peace-loving people.

VISITS SONGHUNG REVOLUTIONARY SITE

The dear respected
Marshal Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first
chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander
of the Korean People's Army, on Monday visited the Songhung Revolutionary Site
where the Command of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) was located on the
occasion of the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation
War.
He learned in detail
about the display and preservation of the historical data and relics, looking
round a half underground house, a tunnel, bed room, soldiers' hall, etc. At the
half underground house he watched a photo President Kim Il Sung had taken with
Peng Dehuai, commander of the CPV, looking back with deep emotion on the
unforgettable days the armies and people of the DPRK and People's Republic of
China fought shoulder to shoulder.
He dropped in at the
operation room in the tunnel where a photo of the President autographing in
high praise of the feats performed by the men and officers of the CPV on March
4, 1953 and his autograph were on display. There he noted that the Chinese
party and government dispatched the CPV to help at the cost of blood the DPRK
in its just struggle under the banner of "Resisting America and Aiding
Korea, Safeguarding the Home and Defending the Motherland" when its people
fought hard battles to beat back the imperialist aggression forces.
Looking at the operation
map hanging on a wall of the tunnel, he said many known and unknown fighters of
the CPV including Hero Huang Jieguang produced during the battle on the Sanggam
Pass unhesitatingly dedicated their youth and lives on the Korean front.

room used by the President several times including August 26, 1953 and visited
by leader Kim Jong Il on August 25, 1954, Kim Jong Un said it is a precious
historical relic which bears the mark of the wartime.

July 30 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea,
first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme
commander of the Korean People's Army, had a photo session with the war veteran
delegates who took part in the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the
victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War.
Present there were Pak
Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae, Jang Song Thaek, Jang Jong Nam, Choe Thae Bok, Yang
Hyong Sop, Ri Yong Mu, O Kuk Ryol, Kim Won Hong, Choe Pu Il, Ri Pyong Sam and
Ju Kyu Chang and veteran anti-Japanese fighters Ri Ul Sol, Hwang Sun Hui and
Kim Chol Man.
When Marshal Kim Jong Un
appeared, the participants shouted "hurrah!" enthusiastically
welcoming him. They paid greatest glory and gratitude to Kim Jong Un, who is
glorifying generation after generation the immortal exploits the great
Generalissimo Kim Il Sung performed by winning the victory in the war and the
feats the great Generalissimo Kim Jong Il performed by leading the Songun
revolution to victory.
