Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Democratic People's
Republic of Korea, inspected the modernized Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff
Factory.
He
saw the newly-built mosaic "The great leaders Comrade Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim
Jong Il examining foodstuff for children" and monument to field
guidance of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu.
Praising
the officials and employees of the factory for having built well the mosaic
with their strong will to convey the great leaders' love for posterity
associated with the factory down through generations, he said President Kim Il
Sung and leader Kim Jong Il would be
very glad to know that tasty and nutritious foodstuff for children are produced
in a large quantity.
Kim Jong Un went round the newly-built room for
education in the revolutionary history and room dedicated to the history of the
factory.
He
stressed the need for the officials and employees of the factory to intensify
the education in the undying leadership feats of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il
and thus translate the desire of the great leaders into reality with great
success in production.
Then
he toured different parts of the factory to learn in detail about its
modernization and production and the variety and quality of products.
Noting
that all processes from raw material feeding to production, packaging, storage
and delivery are automated and robotized, he expressed pleasure over the fact
that the modernization of the factory in keeping with requirement of the age of
knowledge-based economy totally freed employees from toilsome work and made it
possible to raise the productivity by leaps and bounds with less manpower.
The
modernization of the factory is very admirable, he said, adding: It is thanks
to the creative wisdom and unyielding spirit of our workers, scientists and
technicians and the great potentiality of our machine-building industry that
the huge modernization project could be finished on a high level in one year.
What
pleased him in particular in modernizing the factory is the fact that each
production process is equipped with up-to-date facilities designed by our
scientists and technicians and made by our own efforts, he said, stressing that
localization constitutes the core of the Party's policy on modernization.
He
said that when some people with proclivity to import visit the factory, their
import mania would completely be cured.
He
highly appreciated the feats of officials, scientists, technicians and workers
who made positive contribution to the modernization of the factory and gave
thanks in the name of the Workers' Party of Korea to them.
He
said that many officials in Pyongyang and local areas should visit the factory
to learn from it.
He
posed for a picture with the officials and employees of the factory, expressing
belief that they would produce in larger quantity soya milk and other tasty and
nutritious foodstuff for children.
Accompanying
him were secretaries Kim Yang Gon and O Su Yong and vice department director Jo
Yong Won of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee.
