Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) --
Chairman of the Central Military Commission
of the Workers' Party of Korea Kim Jong
Un ordered to promote the military
ranks of commanding officers of the Korean People's Army (KPA)
on Sunday
on the occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
According to the order, Pak Jong Chon, Kim Kwang Hyok and Kim Myong Sik
were promoted to general and
thirty three persons
including Jang Yong Su
and Ko In Chol to major general.
Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un expressed the
conviction that the
commanding officers of the KPA would thoroughly implement the Party's line
of developing the revolutionary
armed force into the powerful elite army and
staunchly struggle for the
victorious advance of the sacred Korean
revolution.
