Drastic Change Is Witnessed at Foot of Mt Paektu

 Samjiyon City, native place dear to the hearts of our people, underwent a radical change.

In November, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un came to the spot in relation to finishing the construction of Samjiyon City and looked round various objects.

He warmly said to accompanying officials that he decided to declare the completion of the third-stage project for sprucing up Samjiyon City.

Consequently, mountainous villages of Samjiyon City have turned into a great ideal land. There are many bustling quarters and luxury villages in the world, but the city is called an ideal land for people.

Thanks to warm love of the respected General Secretary, the city was built as a model of socialist mountainous cultured town, to be proud in the world, at the birthplace of Chairman Kim Jong Il and the revolutionary battle area with traces of the anti-Japanese revolutionary forerunners.

Now the builders of Samjiyon City cannot forget December 3, Juche 106 (2017), when the respected General Secretary visited its construction site. At that time, he looked round various places for a long time and gave vital instructions to bring about revolutionary turn in the construction of Samjiyon City.

Under his energetic guidance, the city greeted the new day. His thoughts and whole energy are reflected in the new style of street formation quite different from before and harmonious composition of each section and a single dot or a line pictured on a blueprint of the beautiful mountainous cultured town and even color of any wall, ranging from designing to building work of all buildings. Indeed, the radical change of Samjiyon City at the foot of Mt Paektu is a monument associated with his devoted service for the people, which implants in the people’s hearts the far-reaching ideal of our Party and emotionally conveys the indomitable spirit and fighting traits of them.
