KIM JONG UN PROVIDES FIELD GUIDANCE TO NOVEMBER 2 FACTORY OF KPA

Pyongyang, February 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, again provided field guidance to the November 2 Factory of the KPA.

He looked round the room dedicated to the history of the factory, a combined control room, candy shop, biscuit shop, sugar-coated bean shop, fried glutinous bean cake shop and other places to learn in detail about the modernization of the production processes.

Recalling that he was told that the factory successfully carried out the concrete tasks set forth by him while going round the factory last year, he said he came to it, very pleased with the fulfillment of one of the last instructions given by great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

At the combined control room he noted that it turned into an intellectual control one capable of monitoring, controlling and commanding overall production processes in a perfect manner though it had just monitored worksites in the past.

He was pleased to learn that all the processes ranging from raw material feeding to production and packing were put on an unmanned basis and it was possible to drastically increase productivity while cutting down manpower.

The factory has been put on a sterilized and dust-free basis to fully ensure hygienic safety, an important issue in foodstuff factories, and the workers are free from noise and air pollution and a ventilation system has been thoroughly established to enable them to work cheerfully, he said.
Noting that the overall production processes were effectively updated, he said with high appreciation that this is the updating of Korean style, the modernization desired by the party.
Telling officials that he would fully take charge of providing the factory with conditions for production, he asked them to keep production going at a high rate and supply larger quantities of varieties of foodstuffs to service personnel.
He sent thanks to the officials, workers, scientists and technicians of relevant unit in the name of KPA supreme commander, noting that they sincerely helped him by updating the production processes.
