Pyongyang,
April 6 (KCNA) -- Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un was awarded Santiago
Marino Order by the Bolivar Council in Santiago Marino County, Aragua State of
Venezuela.
A
meeting for awarding the order to Kim Jong Un took place on Mar. 31 on the
occasion of the birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.
Present
there were the chairman of the Bolivar Council in Santiago Marino County, the
vice-chairman of the National Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, public
figures and masses of Venezuela and the DPRK ambassador to this country and his
embassy officials.
A
decision, read out at the meeting, says that the council has the honour of
awarding the order to Kim Jong Un, Supreme Leader of the Democratic People's
Republic of Korea who is creditably embodying the principle of independence in
politics, self-support in the economy and self-reliance in national defence,
set forth by Kim Il Sung, that serves as the guideline for the developing
countries, in praise of his feats.
The
chairman of the council handed the order and certificate over to the DPRK
ambassador.
