State Merited Chorus Gives Performance for Participants of Military Parade Marking Birth Anniversary of Kim Il Sung

The State Merited Chorus gave a grand congratulatory performance here on Sunday in honor of the participants of the military parade marking the 105th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung.

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, appreciated it together with them.

Among the audience were Hwang Pyong So, Ri Myong Su, Pak Yong Sik, Ri Yong Gil and other commanding officers of the KPA.

Put on the stage were colorful numbers such as male chorus "The President and General Are Together," mixed chorus and male chorus "Glory to Workers' Party of Korea", male chorus "We Wish Supreme Commander Good Health" and male solo "Soldiers Live Near the General."

The performers sang high praises of the greatest honor of the service personnel and people of the DPRK dynamically advancing toward the immensely rosy future of the great Paektusan nation, being blessed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, holding them in high esteem as the eternal sun of Juche for all ages.

The audience was mesmerized by the songs praising the exploits Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by leading the unprecedented struggle for defending socialism to one victory after another, always finding themselves on the forefront of the revolution throughout their lives, and thus built a single-mindedly united politico-ideological power, a world military power and nuclear power on this land.

The performance reached its climax when the artistes presented male choruses "Peace Is Guaranteed by Our Arms" and "Revolutionary Armed Forces Uphold Leadership of Marshal Only" representing the faith and will of the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army to guarantee with matchless arms the rosy future of Kim Il Sung's Korea which will prosper for all ages, demonstrating the strongest national power with independent nuclear weapons under the invincible leadership of Kim Jong Un.

When the performance was over, all the performers and participants in the military parade broke into enthusiastic cheers of "hurrah!"

He waved back to them and congratulated the artistes on their successful performance.

He expressed expectation and belief that all the participants in the military parade would firmly uphold the cause of the sun with the arms of Paektusan by carrying forward the history and tradition of steady victories of the revolutionary cause of Juche which started and advanced with arms, and creditably discharge their noble missions and duties in defending socialism and accomplishing the cause of building a socialist power.
