Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers'
Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and
supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, visited the Kumsusan Palace of
the Sun on Saturday, the Day of the Sun.
Accompanying him were Kim Yong Nam, Hwang
Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju, Choe Ryong Hae and other senior party, state and army
officials, officials of party, armed forces and power organs, and the Cabinet,
working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions.
Kim Jong Un entered the hall where the
statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il are standing.
A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un
was laid at the statues.
Also placed were a floral basket in the
joint name of the Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the
WPK and the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and a floral basket in the
joint name of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly and the Cabinet of
the DPRK.
Kim Jong Un, together with other visitors,
paid high tribute to the statues.
Then he entered the hall where Kim Il Sung
lies in state.
He paid homage to Kim Il Sung in the
humblest reverence for him.
He looked round the hall where orders Kim
Il Sung received are on display and halls which house a train coach and car
used by him.
He entered the hall where Kim Jong Il lies
in state.
He paid homage to Kim Jong Il in the
humblest reverence for him.
He went round the hall where orders Kim
Jong Il received are on display and halls which house a car, electric car, boat
and train coach used by him.
