Photo Exhibition Opens
A national photo exhibition opened
at the People's Palace of Culture on Thursday with due ceremony to mark the
75th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
Displayed in the venue of the
exhibition are photos showing the revolutionary careers of President Kim
Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il, founder and builder of the WPK and
eternal leaders, and photos of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un developing
the Party into an invincible one steering the revolutionary cause of Juche.
Also on display are photos dealing
with the proud reality of the DPRK where the new era of prosperity is being
ushered in and those showing the appearance of the Korean people enjoying the
independent and creative life to their hearts' content.
Present at the ceremony were Ri Il
Hwan, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea,
officials, journalists, editors of the Korean Central Photograph Publicity
Agency and working people in the city.
Ri Il Hwan said in his opening
speech that the photos of Kim Il Sung, Kim Jong Il and Kim
Jong Un displayed in the venue of the exhibition serve as valuable
treasure reflecting the revolutionary histories of the peerlessly great men who
devoted themselves to the founding of the Party and its development.
