Pyongyang, October 11 (KCNA) -- The
torchlight procession of the young vanguard for celebrating the 75th founding
anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea took place at Kim Il
Sung Square on Saturday evening.
Taking the tribune of honor were Choe
Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central
Committee, first vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission (SAC) of the
Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and president of the Presidium of
the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, Ri Pyong Chol, member of the
Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, vice-chairman
of the Central Military Commission of the WPK and vice-chairman of the WPK
Central Committee, Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau
of the WPK Central Committee and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, and Pak Pong Ju,
member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee,
vice-chairman of the SAC of the DPRK and vice-chairman of the WPK Central
Committee.
Also present at the tribune were Kim
Jae Ryong, Ri Il Hwan, Choe Hwi, Pak Thae Dok, Kim Yong Chol, Choe Pu Il, Thae
Hyong Chol, O Su Yong, Kim Hyong Jun, Ho Chol Man, Pak Myong Sun, Jong Kyong
Thaek, Kim Il Chol, Im Chol Ung, Ri Ryong Nam, Kim Yong Hwan, Pak Jong Nam and
other members of the leadership body of the Party Central Committee.
Kim Su Gil, Kim Jong Gwan and other
military commanding officers were also present at the tribune.
The reserved seats for guests were
taken by Kim Yong Nam, Choe Yong Rim, Yang Hyong Sop, Kim Ki Nam, Choe Thae Bok
and other veteran officials who had worked for a long time in the Party, the
government and the military.
Taking the reserved seats were
delegates to the celebrations for the 75th founding anniversary of the WPK.
As the start of the procession was
declared, letters of celebration appeared one after another and a pattern of
fire portraying the emblem of the WPK, symbol of victory, brightened the sky
above the square.
Open cars carrying the red flags
bearing the portraits of smiling President Kim Il Sung and
Chairman Kim Jong Il entered the square, escorted by
young vanguard.
Seen in the square were the august
names of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim
Jong Il and Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.
Ranks of revolutionary schools, youth
and students and working youth started their solemn march.
Ranks of youths forming letters
reading "Peerless Hero" entered the square, shouting slogan
"Long Live Peerless Patriot General Kim Jong Un!"
Torchlight holders forming letters
"Great Party", "Strongest Military Power" and
"Independence", making loud shouts to express the immense trust and
reverence for our Party, filled the square.
They make formation changes to depict
letters reading "Revolutionary Traditions", "Single-minded
Unity", "Socialism" and "Self-reliance" one after
another to the tune of the song "Advancing Socialism".
The far-reaching ideal and ambition of
young builders were reflected in letters "Devoted Service", "Golden
Mountain", "Golden Field" and "Golden Sea".
Letters reading "Scout
Party" and "Heroic Youth" showed the bravery and valiant courage
of youth in the great era of Kim Jong Un.
The ranks of students entered the
square.
The pledge of youths resounded throughout
the square against the background letters reading "Toward 8th Congress of
Party" mirroring the iron will to certainly build a powerful socialist
country on this land under the guidance of the WPK.
The ranks forming letters "First
Lifeline" marched past the platform as there presented in the square
letters "Devoted Defence" and "Devoted Implementation" to
the tune of song of faith "We Know Nobody but You".
