Pyongyang, April 16 (KCNA) -- All the people in the DPRK commemorates the 110th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung, whose august name shines in the nation's history spanning 5 000 years, as the great revolutionary event, holding him in high esteem as the eternal sun of socialist Korea. They extend the highest respects towards the sacred temple of Juche with ardent yearning for him that remains unchanged, no matter how much water may flow under the bridge.
Kim
Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president
of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK),
visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun together with his wife Ri Sol Ju on
April 15, the Day of the Sun, the greatest auspicious holiday of the Korean
nation.
Accompanying
him were Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the
Central Committee of the WPK, first vice- president of the State Affairs
Commission of the DPRK and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Supreme
People's Assembly , Jo Yong Won, member of the Presidium of the Political
Bureau and secretary for Organizational Affairs of the WPK Central Committee,
Kim Tok Hun, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central
Committee, vice-president of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and premier
of the Cabinet, and other leading officials of the Party and the government,
officials of the Party Central Committee, members of the Cabinet and leading
officials of the working people's organizations.
Leading
officials of the armed forces organs were present there.
Placed at
the statues of
President Kim Il
Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il was a floral basket from the
respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Also
laid before the statues were the floral baskets in the names of the WPK Central
Committee, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of
the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.
The
respected General Secretary and his wife, together with other visitors, paid
high tribute to the statues of the great leaders.
At
the halls where the President and the Chairman lie in state, the respected
General Secretary and his wife made deep bows to the President and the Chairman
as a token of their best wishes of immortality to the great leaders who built
Korean-style socialism guided by the idea of believing in the people as in
Heaven on this land, made the unprecedentedly glorious history of victory and
miracles and laid the eternal foundations for ensuring the dignity and
prosperity of posterity.
