KIM JONG UN VISITS
KUMSUSAN PALACE OF SUN
Pyongyang, February 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first
secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National
Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's
Army, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun at 00:00, Monday, the Day of the
Shining Star.
Kim Jong Un entered the hall where the statues of
President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il are standing. The chief of the
guard of honor of the Ground, Navy, Air and Anti-Air Force of the KPA and the
Worker-Peasant Red Guards made a salute to the statues.
A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was
placed before the statues. Also laid before them was a floral basket in the
name of the KPA. Kim Jong Un, together with other visitors, paid high tribute
to the statues. He entered the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state. He,
together with other visitors, paid homage to Kim Jong Il in the humblest
reverence for him.
He went round the hall where orders Kim Jong Il
received are on display, the mourners' hall and halls which house a car,
electric car, boat and train coach used by him.
He was accompanied by Hwang Pyong So, Hyon Yong
Chol, Ri Yong Gil, Kim Won Hong, So Hong Chan, Kim Chun Sam, Pak Yong Sik, Ryom
Chol Song and other commanding officers of the KPA and those of the services
and corps level units of the KPA.
