Spokesman for DLAK Warns Hostile Forces against Their Anti-DPRK "Human Rights" Racket
Pyongyang, January 31 (KCNA) -- It was disclosed that the anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" railroaded through the session of the United Nations in December last year was a politically motivated false document fabricated on the basis of false testimonies made by human scum.
However, the U.S. and south Korean conservative forces are vociferating about the "validity" of the document, claiming that Sin Tong Hyok's confession of false testimony cannot exercise any influence on the "report on human rights in north Korea" and that the "report" is based on testimonies of majority of witnesses.
Branding this as the height of shamelessness, the spokesman for the Democratic Lawyers Association of Korea (DLAK) in a statement on Saturday said: The "Commission of Inquiry on Human Rights in north Korea" (CI) of the UN was cooked up according to the "testimonies" made by human scum including Sin Tong Hyok. Riffs-raffs of the CI are unlettered persons who had not been to the DPRK even once and the "report on human rights" of the UN is a mysterious one cooked up on the basis of false stories told by psychopaths after receiving money from U.S. tricksters according to their scenario.
If the UN is to repair its tarnished image, it should apologize for its wrong act of supporting the U.S.-led conspiratorial moves and immediately take a measure to retract the anti-DPRK "human rights resolution".
It should also probe the truth behind the tortures practiced by the CIA that has become a target of world-wide criticism and behind the severe human rights situation in the U.S. and south Korea.
The U.S. and the south Korean conservative group should be well aware of the fact that its persistent "human rights" conspiratorial farce daring hurt the DPRK would only invite bitterer shame and setback in the world arena as it will continue disclosing the truth about it.
The DPRK will as ever punish those infringing upon its sovereignty and dignity and continue revealing the truth behind the false testimonies made by betes noires in order to set right the misled public opinion.
The more desperately hostile forces of all hues stage their "human rights" farce against the DPRK, the stronger counteraction the latter will take.
Availing itself of this opportunity, the DPRK once again seriously warns the U.S. and "human rights" riff-raffs of all hues including the south Korean authorities who were involved in the moves to adopt the "bill on human rights in north Korea" and in the setting up of "north's human rights office", pursuant to its scenario, not to run riot.

ADMIRATION FOR A GREAT MAN
There are many anecdotes of how celebrated figures of the world were struck with wonder and admiration for Kim Jong Il (1942-2011), eternal Chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission.
The following are some of them.
A Soviet Marshal Becomes Kim Jong Il’s Disciple
Dmitry Yazov, defence minister of the former Soviet Union, is so well-versed in military affairs that he is called a “military encyclopaedia.”
During the Soviet era, he once surprised his US counterpart. During talks with US Defense Secretary Frank Carlucci, the subject of the American Civil War came up. He told the American which battle had been fought in which way, which general played which role and what were the strategic merits and demerits of the two belligerent forces. Carlucci was surprised that the Russian was better informed than himself of the Civil War, and described the Soviet Defence Minister as a “military encyclopaedia.”
Yazov was proud of being called this.
One day in July 1998, during a visit to the DPRK, he met Kim Jong Il.
Their conversation lasted for nearly five hours. They talked mainly about military affairs.
Kim Jong Il’s profound military knowledge struck the Russian with wonder. He was familiar with not only a single arm or a service but all the services of all the arms, with the cutting-edge technology of modern military science and equipment, with the strategies and tactics of modern warfare, and even with combat action–in fact, with every military sphere.
Yazov, taken aback by Kim Jong Il’s military wisdom and talent, said:
“I feel as if I’ve graduated from another military academy. Your wide-ranging military vision and profound knowledge beat me. You’re a giant not only in statesmanship but also in the military field. Let me become your disciple.”
Albright’s Brooch
The following happened in October 2000 when US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright was on a visit to Pyongyang. The mere fact that the Secretary of State of the United States, which claimed that it was the “only superpower,” was visiting Pyongyang for the first time in the history of relations between the two countries, As the hours went by, the world, which was keeping a watchful eye on her actions, was struck with a greater wonder: she was seen to change her brooches several times, seeming to indicate variations in her psychological state.
On the day of her arrival, she was wearing a brooch with the design of the Stars and Stripes. Albright had a reputation for delivering a “delicate political message” to and skilfully handling her dialogue partners by means of different types of brooches. This brooch was a symbol of the “dignity” of the United States.
The next day Kim Jong Il held talks with her. He provided clear answers and conclusions to all her questions concerning DPRK-US relations and other complex and sensitive international issues, the situation in the Asia-Pacific region and on the Korean peninsula, and the missile issue, which was of greatest concern to the United States.
Albright explicitly expressed her admiration for her dialogue partner, as if she had forgotten that she was having formal talks, saying that Kim Jong Il’s clear-cut answers were really fascinating. These words were not an expression of diplomatic etiquette but spoken from her heart. As a token of her feelings, she wore a heart-shaped brooch at a banquet she hosted in honour of Kim Jong Il. This brooch was a symbol of her respect and admiration for her dialogue partner.
Charles Kartman, who was a member of her entourage and a special envoy to the Korean peninsula peace talks, said that the Secretary of State was very satisfied with the result of her visit to Pyongyang and, in particular, she was fascinated by Kim Jong Il.
In the report that she submitted to President Clinton after her return home, Albright wrote:  Kim Jong Il is completely different from the type we have so far imagined. His theory is systematic and logical. He is not only well versed in the current complicated international issues but also correct in his analysis and judgement of the issues, and broad-minded, magnanimous and clear-cut in dealing with all affairs. It is entertaining to have talks with Kim Jong Il, for he listens to his dialogue partner to the last in a prudent manner and with great attention, and shows himself to be magnanimous. It is, accordingly, inevitable to be drawn deep into his theories and assertions during negotiations. All in all, I could not but admit that Kim Jong Il is a leader, clear in theory in the political, economic, cultural, military, diplomatic and all other wide-ranging fields, definite in confidence, broad-minded, meticulous and many-sided.
When she appeared at the airport to depart Pyongyang, she wore a cowboy-shaped brooch, the symbol of peace, which glitters in the sunlight.

KANGSO MINERAL WATER COMES BACK
Kim Jong Il (1942-2011), eternal Chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, was the genuine people’s leader who regarded demands and interests of the people as a top-priority national affair. Many stories are told about his personality as the people’s leader.
It happened when the Chairman visited a department store in Pyongyang which was the venue for goods exhibition. He was very pleased all the while, looking round the sections in the department store with a large display of quality goods. When he came to the section with exhibits of foodstuffs, he asked suddenly where he could find Kangso mineral water.
He was guided to the booth of the mineral water, and, picking a bottle, inquired about its production. The officials told him that since the relocation of water source the mineral water was gushing out in larger volumes and with higher content of carbon dioxide and better quality.
Their reply brought a hearty laugh to him, who said that it was the case of good born of evil. All the officials and saleswomen there, too, laughed pleasantly.
Kangso mineral water that occurs through rock layers formed during the Proterozoic Eon, is a 100 % natural carbonated spring water good for health and longevity of the people and in wide use as a everyday beverage in treating various diseases.
The mineral water, located in Yaksu-ri, Kangso District of Nampho in the western coast of Korea, was designated as natural monument No. 56 in 1982, and achieved the DPRK and WIPO certificates of registration of appellation of origin and SGS certification, thus being known to the world as a natural drink.
Several years ago, however, the spring water stopped its discharge all of a sudden. Local residents said the water suddenly disappeared after they felt a strong tectonic shake that morning.
According to geologists, it was an aftermath of the great earthquake in Japan.
The world-famous Kangso mineral water had become a valuable property of the Korean people thanks to devoted efforts of President Kim Il Sung (1912-1994) and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
The Chairman had all necessary steps taken to build the Kangso Mineral Water Factory as a modernly-equipped base and solved problems, big or small, arising in its production and supply, while visiting the factory.
It was a great pity, therefore, that the mineral water, treasure of the country, stopped gushing out.
The factory technicians and workers, in collaboration with scientists from the State Academy of Sciences, made painstaking efforts to relocate the spring course, but in vain.
At that time the Chairman took an emergency measure to find the mineral water. He instructed that if the original spring failed to discharge water, another place should be chosen for the boring through resistivity CT scan.
Following his instruction, the factory staff and research group selected a spot not far from the former place after CT survey and began boring. Sixty days after the disappearance of the spring water, it discharged water again, and that in larger volumes and better quality.
The elderly in the Yaksu-ri would say willingly how the mineral water was relocated:
“It was a work of nature that the Kangso mineral water disappeared, but it is the rarest thing in the world that the wild nature has been harnessed.”
“Chairman Kim Jong Il is a great man born of heaven who even knows deep underground like the palm of his hand.”

“HUMAN RIGHTS” RACKET UNJUSTIFIABLE
The United States and its vassal forces are growing frantic in their “human rights” racket against the DPRK.
Then what is the real situation of the country?
The following are some examples.
Free access to schooling is provided for all the children of school age wherever they are in the country, whether in out-of-the-way mountainous regions or on far-flung islands. After decades of enforcing universal free compulsory education, the Government has now introduced the 12-year compulsory education system of the highest global standard.
Free access to medical care is another example. With hospitals and medical facilities spread out proportionally across the country, doctors go the rounds of households in their charge on a regular basis. In a nutshell, the most advantageous medical care system in the world, perfect and universal, is in force on a countrywide scale.
Some other facts are also unbelievable.
Dwelling houses for citizens are built at state expense and it is the only tax-free country in the world. Jobless people cannot be found; all those with working ability have a right to choose jobs according to their wishes and talents; the State provides them with stable employment.
All members of society enjoy political freedom and rights on an equal footing. There is no need to explain long about this; workers, farmers, working intellectuals and women hold a fair proportion of deputies to the Supreme People’s Assembly (the equivalent of the MPs).
The citizens of the DPRK can be said to be enjoying all social rights on a higher level than those in other countries, because it is guided by the Juche idea centred on the masses of the people.
The “human rights” racket against such a country is pointless indeed.
It is worth recalling what an international criminal lawyer, who is a member of the lawyers association under the Senate of Canada, wrote under the title of North Korea, UN and War Declaration:
We had just arrived in Korea and had no idea of what would happen. So we asked the US officers (they were staying there to retrieve the remains of GIs) about their views on the country and its present situation. To our surprise, a major said that he and his colleagues had heard on their way here from Hawaii that north Korea is hell on earth. He continued that during their two years’ stay they realized it was a sheer lie, adding that it is a good place and people were friendly to them. He retorted that what the Western media and their superiors were exhorting was all nonsense. Leaving this country we met two Congolese diplomats and they said in a similar vein.
Recently, the United States and its vassal nations conspired to have an anti-DPRK “human rights resolution” railroaded through the Third Committee of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly.
They are now hell-bent on the “human rights” row, which is obviously aimed at igniting a war of aggression against the DPRK. According to its hostile policy, the United States resorted to all conceivable means―political isolation, economic blockade and military pressure.
As all of these did not work with the country, it is scheming to open up a new theatre of war, using the “human rights issue” as a justification for its military intervention. Conventionally, it appeared stronger in its advocacy of “human rights” on the eve of any attempt at armed aggression or regime change.
Typical examples are the Gulf and Balkan wars it unleashed by the end of the last century, allegedly to “protect human rights and minorities,” and the Afghanistan and Iraq wars at the threshold of the new century, also under the cloak of “human rights protection.”
It is deplorable to see the countries that are not to the liking of America, lambasted as “violators of human rights” and thus subjected to international “punishment.”
The ongoing “human rights” row led by the United States is not a tactical gambit but a long-term strategy. In other words, it is the ultimate goal of America to invade and stifle the DPRK on the pretext of the “human rights issue.”

The conscience of the world vehemently rejects the despicable “human rights” racket.
