200-day campaign towards implementing the tasks of the Seventh Congress of the WPK

-year strategy of the state economic development was set forth at the Seventh Congress of the WPK to build the socialist economic giant successfully.

The target of 5-year strategy of the state economic development is to lay the foundation for continuously developing the economy of country by vitalizing the whole field of national economy and ensuring the balance between the economic sectors.

The period of 5-year strategy of the state economic development is from 2016 to 2020.

There is a Korean proverb “Well begun is half done”.

So we should thoroughly carry out the plan for the development of national economy in 2016, the first year of 5-year strategy of the state economic development.

The joint conference of officials of the Party, state and economic and armed forces organs was held in Pyongyang at the end of May in Juche 105(2016).

The 200-day campaign of loyalty was declared at the conference to make a breakthrough in implementing the five-year strategy for the state economic development.

The 200-day campaign is the struggle of loyalty which shows in the eyes of the world that the plan and decision of the WPK is just science, reality and victory in general offensive and all-out rush to implement the resolutions of the WPK’s Congress.

It is also the confrontation of idea and faith and the battle of self-reliance and self-development to put an end to the maneuvers of hostile forces to isolate and stifle by dint of the strength and technology of the DPRK.

In the period of 70-day campaign the people of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea waged tireless and all-night struggles to prepare for the Seventh Congress as the congress of victors and overfulfilled the plan 144％and by doing so industrial production was 1.6 times greater than last year’s.

They are filled with enthusiasm in order to glorify 2016 as the year of victory by making further achievements in offensive with the fighting spirit surged greatly in the period of 70-day campaign.

The 200-day campaign began on the 1^st of June, Juche 105(2016).

In this period was planned to build the edifices such as Ryomyong Street and make great achievements in improving the people’s standard of living.

Korean people will create the heroic feats in the 200-day campaign of loyalty by conducting the dauntless offensive and life-and-death battle of the whole people with firm confidence which Korea does what it is determined to do.
