KIM JONG UN RECEIVES DELEGATION OF COMMUNIST PARTY OF CHINA

Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, on Friday received a delegation of the Communist Party of China led by Liu Yunshan, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and member of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, on an official goodwill visit to the DPRK on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).
Kim Jong Un met with members of the delegation and had a cordial conversation with them.
Liu Yunshan extended thanks to Kim Jong Un for receiving the delegation and warmly congratulated the C.C., the WPK and all its members and the Korean people on the 70th founding anniversary of the WPK upon the authorization of the C.C., the CPC and General Secretary Xi Jinping.
He said that the WPK led the Korean people and achieved the independence of the country and the liberation of the people and made noteworthy successes in the socialist revolution and construction of Korea, overcoming the manifold difficulties, under the leadership of the great leader of the Korean people President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
He noted that the party, government and people of China are sincerely rejoiced over the great achievements made by the Korean people in various fields including economic development and improvement of the people's living standard thanks to the leadership and organizational ability of First Secretary Kim Jong Un who is carrying out the behests of Kim Il Sung and
Kim Jong Il and to the appeal of the WPK in recent years, in particular.
Kim Jong Un wished the delegation's visit to the DPRK to be a significant one making a positive contribution to inheriting and developing the good tradition between the two parties and two peoples.
The DPRK-China relations are not merely the neighborly ones but have become strategic relations rooted in the tradition of friendship forged with blood, he said, adding: The greatest feat and legacy in the foreign work left by Kim Il Sung and
Kim Jong Il for us is the DPRK-China friendship.
Saying that the tradition should not be recorded only in history book and textbook but inherited and glorified in practice, he noted that it is the will of the WPK and the Korean people to further consolidate the traditional DPRK-China friendship generation after generation.
He expressed the belief that the invincible vitality of the DPRK-China friendship, treasure common to the peoples of the two countries, will be more dynamically displayed in the future thanks to the efforts of both sides.
He exchanged with the guests views on the issue of boosting the bilateral relations and other issues of mutual concern.
He was presented with a gift by Liu Yunshan.
He expressed thanks for this and had a photo session with all members of the delegation.
Present there were Wang Jiarui, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and head of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., the CPC, Zhang Yesui, executive vice-minister of Foreign Affairs, Song Tao, executive deputy director of the Foreign Affairs Office of the C.C., the CPC, Yin Fanglong, deputy director of the General Political Department of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, Liu Hongcai, deputy head of the International Liaison Department of the C.C., the CPC, Li Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK, and other members of the delegation.

Also on hand were Kim Ki Nam and Kim Yang Gon, secretaries of the C.C., the WPK.
