Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first
chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander
of the Korean People's Army, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun to pay
tribute to President
Kim Il Sung and leader Kim
Jong Il at 00:00 on October 10, the 70th anniversary of the founding of the
WPK.
He entered the hall where
the statues of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il are standing.
The chief of a guard of
honor of the Ground, Naval, Air and Anti-Air Forces of the KPA and the
Worker-Peasant Red Guards made a salute towards the statues.
A floral basket in the name of Kim Jong Un was placed
before the statues.
Also laid before them was a floral basket in the name
of the C.C., the WPK.
He, together with other visitors, paid high tribute to
the statues.
He entered the hall where Kim Il Sung lies in state.
He, together with other visitors, paid homage to Kim
Il Sung in the humblest reverence for him.
He entered the hall where Kim Jong Il lies in state.
He, together with other visitors, paid homage to Kim
Jong Il in the humblest reverence for him.
He was accompanied by Kim Ki Nam, Choe Ryong Hae, Choe
Thae Bok, Kim Yang Gon, Kwak Pom Gi, O Su Yong, Kim Phyong Hae and other senior
officials of the C.C., the WPK.
