KIM JONG UN WATCHES FIREPOWER STRIKE DRILL OF KPA

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, watched a firepower strike drill of the KPA together with the participants in the 4th meeting of KPA company commanders and political instructors.

Kim Jong Un heard a report on the program of the drill and deployment of strike units at the observation post and issued an order to start the drill.

As soon as the order was issued, nose diving flying corps and various type artillery pieces on the ground fired volleys, pounding the targets.

The drill was successfully ended after demonstrating the militant spirit of the heroic KPA under Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, peerlessly illustrious commander and supreme incarnation of revolutionary faith and pluck.

The drill powerfully demonstrated the might of the heroic KPA which has grown to be a matchless powerful army under the care of Kim Jong Un.

He highly appreciated their successes in the drill, expressing great satisfaction over the fact that the participants in the drill were fully prepared to defend the socialist homeland like an impregnable fortress.

He said that the socialist homeland of Juche is like an invulnerable fortress and the revolutionary cause of the WPK sure to win thanks to the KPA, steel-strong elite ranks.

He said that this strike drill offered the company commanders and political instructors who participated in the meeting an opportunity to harden their determination to train their companies to be ranks of a-match-for-a-hundred fighters.

He expressed great expectation and belief that upon their return to their companies, the company commanders and political instructors of the whole army would put spurs to rounding off the combat preparations and bolstering up the combat capabilities as they had pledged at the meeting and thus turn their companies into invincible combat ranks and elite powerful revolutionary army.

The drill was watched by Choe Ryong Hae, Ri Yong Gil, Jang Jong Nam, Pyon In Son, Kim Su Kil, Ryom Chol Song, Ri Pyong Chol, Kim Yong Chol, Pak Jong Chon, Rim Kwang Il, Han Kwang Sang, Kim Kyong Ok and commanding officers of armed forces organs.

Pyongyang, October 30 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, had a photo session with the soldier-builders of KPA Unit 267 who performed labor feats in building splendid edifices in the era of Songun.

At its venue he congratulated the soldier-builders on fully displaying the militant stamina and the spirit of devotedly carrying out orders as a guard unit and hero unit in the great worksites of socialist construction as befitting the defenders of the country and creators of people's happiness.

The Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, the apartment houses for educators of Kim Il Sung University, Munsu Water Park and Mirim Riding Club and many other monumental edifices are associated with the patriotic devotion and ennobling efforts of the commanding officers and service personnel of the unit who took the lead in upholding the plans of the Party, he said, highly appreciating their successes. Then he had a photo session with them.

He expressed expectation and belief that the commanding officers and soldier-builders of KPA Unit 267 would perform their pioneer role in the future, too, in the new projects for building a thriving nation which the Party would entrust to them.
