Kim Jong Un Gives Field Guidance to Historic Site Associated with Fatherland Liberation War

Pyongyang, June 9 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, gave field guidance to the Historic Site Associated with the Fatherland Liberation War.
He went round the supreme command post, the monument to the revolutionary activities, club of the General Staff and other places of the site.
He said that the supreme command post is impressively telling about the outstanding military idea and theory of President Kim Il Sung and his extraordinary military wisdom and outstanding commanding art.
Watching the holes punched by strafe on the wall of the office room used by the President and an unexploded bomb left stuck on a low hill near the supreme command post, Kim Jong Un noted that the President led the war to victory while staying in a very dangerous place, something unprecedented in the world history of wars.
The President fought open battles as he had to beat the U.S.-led imperialist allied forces externally and frustrate every move of the spies hired by the U.S. imperialists and anti-party factional elements to stamp out the Korean revolution with blood-shot eyes internally during the Fatherland Liberation War, he stressed.
In the operation room he said it is so simple and modest place that one can hardly call it an operation room used by the supreme commander of a country, adding that in the room the President honorably protected the destiny of the country and nation and brought about the beginning of a downhill turn for the U.S. imperialists.
He went round with deep emotion the tunnel used by the President, the place where the President had a photo taken after receiving the title of DPRK Marshal and the place where he had a talk with DPRK heroes and exemplary combatants.
He looked round the newly built revolutionary museum.
Noting that the revolutionary museum was successfully built as required by the design approved by the Party, he praised the officials and scientists of the relevant field for displaying wisdom and enthusiasm in its construction.
He watched with keen interest the precious historical relics telling about leader Kim Jong Il who learned from the President's military idea, war methods and commanding art beside an operational table at the supreme command and went round with deep emotion the Samsok Primary School where Kim Jong Il studied with his far-reaching intention to carry forward the revolutionary cause of Juche.
He said the historical mementoes and materials in the site, which teach the truth that service personnel and people led by a great leader are sure to emerge victorious and show what an important role the leader plays in the revolutionary struggle, are all eternal treasures of the Korean revolution that can neither be written off nor be forgotten.
Underscoring the need to meticulously organize visits to the site among service personnel, people and youth so that they might resolutely protect and add eternal brilliance to the exploits Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il performed by leading the war to victory and steering the Songun (army-first) revolution, he set forth such tasks to be fulfilled to intensify education as to improve the qualifications of lecturers, take care of their work and living, briskly arrange itinerant lectures and produce video clips and picture albums on the site and widely disseminate them.
