Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of
Korea (WPK), first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and
supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, had a photo session with the
scientists, technicians, workers and officials who demonstrated the dignity and
might of the great Paektusan nation before the world through the great
successful launch of earth observation satellite Kwangmyongsong-4.
He congratulated the space
conquerors who significantly adorned the February spring holiday by launching
Kwangmyongsong shining with the august name of leader Kim Jong Il into the
space and provided the people turning out as one toward the glorious May with
the laurel of victory and had a photo session with them.
At the end of the session,
he waved his hand to the participants shouting hurrah with excitement.
He expressed expectation
and belief that the participants would bring about uninterrupted miracles and
innovations in the researches for the development of the nation's space science
and technology and discharge their duty as pacesetters and standard-bearers in
carrying out the party's policy of attaching importance to science and
technology.
He was accompanied by Ri
