Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Service Members Participating in Military Parade

Pyongyang, February 10 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, on February 9 had a photo session with the commanding officers and soldiers of units at all levels who took part in the military parade for celebrating the 75th founding anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

Present there were Ri Pyong Chol, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau and secretary of the WPK Central Committee, Ri Yong Gil, secretary of the WPK

Central Committee, and Kang Sun Nam, Pak Su Il and Jong Kyong Thaek, commanding officers of the military.

Boundless were the emotion and joy of the participants who greeted the dreamlike moment of glory at the meaningful parade square with the great pride of having demonstrated to the whole world the high dignity and inexhaustible military strength of a powerful revolutionary army through the grand parade in the presence of the great Comrade Kim Jong Un.

When Kim Jong Un arrived, stormy cheers burst forth, rocking the ground.

The officers and men of all the parade units paid the highest tribute to the peerlessly brilliant commander who turned the KPA into a strong fist of justice armed with the resolute revolutionary spirit and ever-victorious fighting spirit and a matchless army overwhelming any formidable enemy while dynamically opening up a new chapter of building a powerful army with his iron faith, matchless pluck and extraordinary leadership.

Acknowledging the enthusiastic cheers, Kim Jong Un extended militant greetings to the service personnel who made contributions to glorifying the military parade marking the 75th founding anniversary of the KPA as a political and military event to be specially recorded in history, which made a clearer description of the prestige and greatness, high honor and rosy future of our state.

He appreciated that the powerful march of the great armed forces at the parade square with the honorable colors flying in the van served as a striking display of the immortal heroism, militant mettle and absolute power of the KPA which has embroidered the glorious history of victory of the Republic with their precious blood and immense feats on the forefront of the revolution, regarding the loyalty to the Party and the country as the highest mission.

Noting that in the present world where one can demonstrate one's dignity and honor only when one is strong and one can prove the validity of one's cause by dint of victory only, a tower of prosperity which does not stand on the rock called a powerful army is nothing but a mirage, he pointed out that the special characteristics of the Korean revolution, which call for controlling and suppressing the increasingly brutal imperialist tyranny by force, require our army to grow stronger at an incomparably faster speed than that of the past history, not resting on its laurels.

Expressing expectation that the KPA shouldering the heavy responsibility as the vanguard of the revolution which no one else can take in defending the eternal prosperity of the country and the wellbeing of the people would dynamically demonstrate the honor of the ever-victorious heroic army and reliably guarantee the new historic advance of the Korean revolution with arms, he had a photo taken with the officers and men.

When the photo session was over, the participants' loud shouts of "Kim Jong Un" and "devoted defence" rocked the sky in February as thunder of loyalty.

All the participants, who cherished the great love and trust of Kim Jong Un in their hearts, were full of enthusiasm to remain absolutely faithful to the great Party Central Committee and more dynamically demonstrate the might as an iron shield and rock- firm pillar of an independent power, holding higher the colors of loyalty and patriotism for the eternal security of the sacred country, the prosperity and development of the Korean-style socialism and the dignity of all generations to come.
