The DPRK Is a Superpower

Amid a series of events taking place in the fierce confrontation between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the US, another event is now shaking the world. On September 3, 2017 the DPRK succeeded in the test of H-bomb that could be loaded onto ICBM. The Nuclear Weapons Institute of the DPRK said in a statement that the test was aimed at examining and confirming the accuracy and reliability of the power control technology and inner structure design plan, which were newly introduced into manufacturing H-bomb to be loaded onto the warhead of ICBM. The measurements confirmed that power indices of the nuclear warhead such as the total explosive power and the ratio of fission power to fusion power, and all the physical indices that reflect the standard of its quality as a two-stage thermonuclear weapon, matched the designed figures. Even though the power of the test was unprecedentedly great, no eruption on the surface of the earth and no release of radioactive materials were witnessed and it had no negative effect on the surrounding ecosystem. Through the test, the DPRK confirmed that its nuclear bombs are highly precise, the manoeuvrability of the nuclear warheads is reliable, and the technology of designing and manufacturing nuclear weapons reached such a high level that the payload can be controlled according to the targets and purposes of strike.

The DPRK, which now possesses H-bomb, called a “supreme weapon” and “emperor bomb” on the planet, has become a world-class military power, a superpower in the world.

It became a manufacturer and launcher of indigenous artificial satellite after launching Kwangmyongsong 3-2 that shook the world in 2012 and one of the few H-bomb possessors in the world, and it has joined the ranks of countries that possess SLBM, called a “hidden terror” and “invisible nuclear fist” and ICBM that can be launched from a moving launch pad. In the course of the confrontation with the US that has continued from one century into the next, it possessed everything it needs and it must have. The global dynamic structure has changed; the axis is now the newly-emergent superpower, DPRK.

No country in the world was bold enough in the past to counter the unjust arbitrariness of the “nuclear superpower,” the US, overwhelmed by its blackmail of “preemptive” nuclear strike. Even nuclear powers are now being overwhelmed by the US arbitrariness, playing into its hands. It is only the DPRK that is taming the US and defending global peace with its own nuke. Though it enforces the DPRK to “give up” the nuke, the US is now studying the latter’s face as it is overwhelmed by the latter’s determination to shower its mainland with radioactive dust before it presses the “button” for a nuclear war and its powerful war deterrent. Frightened by the DPRK’s readiness for a physical attack, the US forces in south Korea are bent on building fences around their military bases; pamphlets on codes of conduct at the time of emergency are being published and distributed in Guam and Hawaii; Guam once turned into a scene of confusion after a radio station raised an emergency alarm by mistake; a map showing the possible hit points of nuclear warheads at the time of nuclear attack was made public, aggravating uneasiness among the US citizens; many Americans are competing with one another to buy nuclear shelters with their savings.

The single-hearted unity of the people around their Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un is demonstrating the prestige of the country with unprecedented strength and miraculous events. The unity, in which the Supreme Leader braves death on the road of defending the sovereignty and prestige of the country and the security and destiny of the nation and the people have turned out in the do-or-die resistance ready to become human bombs and bullets in defence of their Supreme Leader, is a motive force that made the DPRK a superpower.

This unity can never be broken even with a nuclear bomb.

The DPRK, though small in terms of territory and population, is a genuine superpower admired by the world.

Another “Gift” to the US

This year the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea sent a meaningful “gift” to the US on its Independence Day (July 4, 1776), by test-firing the ICBM Hwasong 14. (It flew 933km after reaching the maximum altitude of 2 802km.)

Two months after that, it sent another “gift” to the superpower–testing an H-bomb to be loaded onto its ICBM. Its H-bomb can release the energy equivalently produced by tens of kilotons to hundreds of kilotons of TNT, according to the targets. It is a multi-functional thermonuclear warhead that can not only produce the enormous destructive power but also launch a powerful EMP attack over a vast area by exploding at a high altitude for strategic purposes.

It was made public that Korean nuclear scientists succeeded in the testing of an H-bomb to be loaded onto an ICBM. The test was reportedly conducted in the nuclear test ground in the northern part of the country at 12:00 on September 3, in accordance with the Workers’ Party of Korea’s plan for building up the country’s strategic nuclear force. Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un ordered the test after assessing the present international political situation and acute military tension on the Korean peninsula at a meeting of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK.

Recently, US President Trump said in his telephone talks with his counterparts of some countries that he would adopt all necessary measures in the diplomatic, economic and military fields to put an end to the DPRK’s “nuclear threat.” Secretary of State Tillerson said at a press conference that the US would join hands with its allies to apply maximum pressure on the DPRK. Defense Secretary Mattis stressed that if the DPRK launched a missile strike against south Korea, Japan, Guam and the US mainland, the US would take specific actions.

During the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercise in August, the US commander of the Pacific force, commander of strategic force and director of the Missile Defense Agency visited south Korea and discussed with the authorities of the south Korean army practical measures for maintaining close ties in an invasion against the north. This is reminiscent of the ex-US Secretary of State Dulles’ visit to the 38^th Parallel on the eve of the Korean war (1950-1953).

The DPRK’s neighbours and other countries involved in the Korean war are toeing the US line by taking an active part in the US-led “sanctions” and military action.

The DPRK is coping resolutely with the frantic moves by the US and its vassal forces. It has called for peace and sent serious warning messages on several occasions.

Each time, however, US politicians responded by blustering that they would “strangle” the DPRK.

This time the DPRK sent a resolute, clear message in response to the abominable actions of the US; the success in the H-bomb test portends the destruction of the US mainland. The destructive force of this H-bomb will be greater than those that fell on Hiroshima and Nagasaki seven decades ago.

It remains uncertain when the DPRK will send this “gift” to the US across the Pacific Ocean. Uncle Sam should heed this warning before it is too late.

Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Teachers from Branch Schools

Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, met and had a photo session with teachers who volunteered to work at branch schools on islands and schools in forefront line and mountainous areas.

When respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un appeared at the venue of the photo session, the teachers enthusiastically welcomed him.

He spoke highly of pure patriotism displayed by the teachers with conscience and devotion as revolutionaries responsible for the future of the country, with the transparent faith and white gem-like loyalty with which they unsparingly devote themselves to settling the issues worried by the Party and to carrying out the work which is wished by the Party, whether they are known or not and appreciated or not, he said, calling on the whole society to put them forward and learn from their outlook on the revolutionary life and the future.

He had a photo session with the teachers.

DPRK FM Warns U.S. Frantic to Fabricate Harshest Ever "Sanctions Resolution"

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Monday released the following statement:

The sanctions and pressure racket of the U.S. to completely obliterate the DPRK's sovereignty and right to existence is reaching an extremely reckless phase.

The U.S. is going frantic to fabricate the harshest ever "sanctions resolution" by manipulating the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) over the DPRK's ICBM mountable H-bomb test.

The DPRK has developed and perfected the super-powerful thermo-nuclear weapon as a means to deter the ever-increasing hostile moves and nuclear threat of the U.S. and defuse the danger of nuclear war looming over the Korean peninsula and the region.

However, instead of making a right choice based on rational analysis of the overall situation, the U.S. is trying to use the DPRK's legitimate self-defensive measures as an excuse to strangle and completely suffocate it.

Since the U.S. is revealing its nature as a blood-thirsty beast obsessed with the wild dream of reversing the DPRK's development of the state nuclear force which has already reached the completion phase, there is no way that the DPRK is going to wait and let the U.S. feast on it.

The DPRK is closely following the moves of the U.S. with vigilance.

In case the U.S. eventually does rig up the illegal and unlawful "resolution" on harsher sanctions, the DPRK shall make absolutely sure that the U.S. pays due price.

The DPRK is ready and willing to use any form of ultimate means.

The forthcoming measures to be taken by the DPRK will cause the U.S. the greatest pain and suffering it had ever gone through in its entire history.

The world will witness how the DPRK tames the U.S. gangsters by taking series of action tougher than they have ever envisaged.

The U.S. should be fully aware that as long as it persists with intense political, economic and military confrontation with the DPRK in defiance of its repeated stern warning, the former will never be able to avoid its permanent extinction. 

Art Performance Given for Nuclear Scientists and Technicians in Presence of Kim Jong Un

There took place an art performance at the People's Theatre in congratulation of nuclear scientists and technicians who brought the great auspicious event of the national history, extra-large event through perfect success in the H-bomb test.

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un together with Ri Sol Ju appeared in the auditorium.

He warmly waved back to the enthusiastically cheering performers and audience.

Following him senior officials and meritorious nuclear scientists and technicians in the field of defence science took auditorium.

Among the audience were contributors to the successful test of H-bomb for ICBM, officials and meritorious persons of the atomic energy field.

The Central Committee and the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea gave a grand banquet in congratulation of the nuclear scientists and technicians who brought the great auspicious event of the national history, extra-large event through the perfect success in the test of H-bomb.

Present there on invitation were the contributors to the successful ICBM-ready H-bomb test.

Kim Jong Un appeared at the banquet hall of the Mokran House and reviewed a guard of honor of the Ground, Naval and Air and Anti-Air Forces of the Korean People's Army and the Worker-Peasant Red Guards together with those contributors.

Ri Man Gon, vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, made a congratulatory speech.

Upon the authorization of Kim Jong Un, commander-in-chief of the nuclear force of the Republic, the speaker warmly congratulated the brave heroes who made a great contribution to attaining the final goal of completing the state nuclear force set forth at the Seventh Congress of the Party by achieving the perfect success in the test of H-bomb.

He said that the nuclear death-defying corps members who plunged into the nuclear battle site and carried out the Party's order at any cost by unsparingly dedicating their youth, lives and family happiness without wanting any honour or praise are, indeed, the real patriots and unassuming persons of distinguished service to be respected by the whole country.

One hardly knows the detailed struggle and merits of the nuclear developers, but our Party carefully considers their blood, sweat and heroic exploits deep in the ground and most highly praises them, the speaker said, and went on:

There are not a few people engaged in the national defence in the world, but only our nuclear developers lead a worthy life with the greatest glory and happiness under the particular love and care of the leader.

Our H-bomb with super explosive power is certainly the H-bomb of Kim Jong Un produced by his ardent love for the country and the people and the thermonuclear bomb of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Our Party is designing the bright tomorrow of a socialist power in firm reliance on the defence scientists boundlessly faithful to the country and revolution, the speaker said, stressing the need for the nuclear developers to fully equip themselves with the spirit of defending the Party Central Committee unto death, more dynamically conduct the campaign of the final stage for completing the state nuclear force and thus fill the arsenal of the Supreme Command with the world strongest nuclear warheads capable of totally contain the enemy.

At the banquet Kim Jong Un made significant remarks.

He highly praised the nuclear developers for most proudly and realistically carrying out the sector tasks set forth at the Seventh Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea, and gave thanks once again to them on behalf of the Party and the state.

He said earnestly that how glad leader Kim Jong Il must be when he knew the news of today's victory as he chewed out the road of building the nuclear force of the DPRK and led the work to victory. The recent test of the H-bomb is the great victory won by the Korean people at the cost of their blood while tightening their belts in the arduous period, he stressed.

He said that the final victory of the Juche revolution is certain as there are firm self-supporting economic foundation provided by the great leaders, the large contingent of talented scientists, army and people having the revolutionary spirit of Paektu and their fighting tradition of self-reliance.

FM Spokesman Denounces US for Trying to Impose Additional Sanctions on DPRK

A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question put by KCNA on September 5 as regards the fact that the US is attempting to impose additional sanctions and pressure on the DPRK over its test of H-bomb for ICBM:

The US is taking the lead in "condemning" the DPRK over its successful test of H-bomb for ICBM and going frantic in the sanctions campaign against the DPRK.

At the emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council convened on September 4, the US representative demanded the adoption of a new "sanctions resolution" against the DPRK while dwelling on the ridiculous rhetoric that the DPRK is begging for war in defiance of their collective voice.

The US is running amuck to defame the DPRK, taking issue with our measures to bolster up the self-defensive nuclear force, but this is only a sophistry to hide true colours of the US as the main culprit for escalated tension and nuclear threat.

The wild and belligerent remarks of "fire and fury" let loose by Trump and the frenzied moves of the US to stifle the DPRK testify that the US is indeed the heinous aggressor who is begging for war in defiance of the collective voice of the international community calling for peace and stability on the Korean peninsula.

No one has the right to make a fuss about our test of H-bomb for ICBM as it is a routine and indispensable process for the implementation of the strategic line that we have chosen for ourselves, the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts.

In order to thoroughly eradicate the decades-long hostile moves and nuclear threat of the US, the DPRK chose to possess nuclear weapons and is holding fast to the strategic line of simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force.

With the emergence of the Trump administration, the US has become all the more reckless in its attempts to completely obliterate the sovereignty and the rights to existence and development of the DPRK, and we were left with no other choice than redoubling our efforts to strengthen the state nuclear force.

The recent successful test of H-bomb for ICBM is part of our efforts to attain the final goal of completing the state nuclear force.

Now we are armed with the ultimate nuclear deterrence by which we can resolutely repel any aggression forces in any part of the world and reliably defend peace and security in the Korean peninsula and the region.

The US is terribly mistaken if it thinks it can frighten or persuade the DPRK by talking about "all options" on the table and imposing the toughest sanctions and pressure upon the latter in every dimension of political, economic and military fields.

We will respond to the heinous sanctions and pressure of the US with our own mode of counteroffensive and the US shall be held totally responsible for all catastrophic consequences to be entailed.

The US should not forget even for a moment about the presence of the DPRK, the full-fledged nuclear power possessed of ICBM as well as A-bomb and H-bomb. 

S. Korean Authorities' Moves to Extend Intelligence Sharing Agreement under Fire

A spokesman of the Consultative Council for National Reconciliation Tuesday released a statement to denounce the south Korean puppet authorities for recently agreeing with the Japanese reactionaries to extend the south Korea-Japan military intelligence protection agreement.

The statement said:

The said agreement, which the Park Geun Hye group of traitors concluded with Japan in November last year under the pressure and backstage manipulation of the U.S., aims at the bilateral exchange of information on surveillance and espionage on the northern half of the Republic under the pretext of coping with the "nuclear threat from the north" and contingency. But it serves as a prelude for tightening a military nexus between south Korea and Japan and accelerating in real earnest the tripartite military alliance led by the U.S. in the main.

What merits a serious attention, in particular, is that it serves as an extremely dangerous and criminal sycophantic and treacherous agreement paving a broader road of reinvasion on the Korean peninsula for the Japanese reactionaries bent on the revival of militarism, dreaming of realizing the "Greater East Asia Co- Prosperity Sphere" under the cloak of "exchange of intelligence."

The puppet authorities' act of extending the agreement following in the footsteps of traitor Park Geun Hye betrays the despicable design to stand in confrontation with the fellow countrymen in the north to the last in collusion with the Korean nation's sworn enemy.

The statement charged that such moves are little short of zealously toeing the hostile policy of the U.S. imperialists and Japanese reactionaries, which fault the measures of the DPRK for bolstering up the self-defensive nuclear force and work hard to provoke a nuclear war against it, and a heinous scheme to stand in confrontation with the fellow countrymen.

It went on:

The farce staged by the puppet regime to extend the agreement in the wake of the additional deployment of THAAD more vividly reveals their deep-rooted slavish submission and the shabby plight of the poor colonial stooges.

As long as the present puppet authorities of south Korea regard the policy of toeing the foreign forces as "a cure all," talking about "cooperation" with the sworn enemy crazy for wild ambition to invade Korea, the improvement of the north-south relations based on the spirit of By Our Nation Itself cannot be expected. It is becoming ever clearer.

The puppet authorities will face strong anti-Japanese resistance of the south Korean public for their such foolish deed as pricking their own eyes with their fingers.

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un signed the order to carry out the test of H-bomb for ICBM as part of efforts to attain the final goal of completing the state nuclear force and wisely led it to conduct successfully.

We warmly congratulate the Korean people and the scientists and technicians in the field of nuclear research who demonstrated once again the independent prestige and dignity of Juche nuclear power by succeeding in the test of H-bomb for ICBM.

We are convinced that the Korean people, under the outstanding guidance of H.E. Supreme Leader, will achieve the final victory in the showdown with the imperialists and the U.S. without fail and open up the wide road in building the powerful and prosperous socialist country by dint of single-minded unity.

Presidium of Political Bureau of C.C., WPK Held

The Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was convened in the morning on September 3, Juche 106 (2017).

Present there were Kim Jong Un, Kim Yong Nam, Hwang Pyong So, Pak Pong Ju and Choe Ryong Hae who are Presidium members of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee.

The Presidium first analyzed and estimated the current international political situation and the military tension created on the Korean peninsula.

Then they heard a report about the study on nuclear weaponization made by the Nuclear Weapons Institute of the DPRK, and discussed the issue of conducting test of H-bomb for ICBM as part of the efforts to attain the final goal of completing the state nuclear force set forth at the 7th Congress of the WPK.

Adopted at the Presidium was a decision of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee "On carrying out test of H-bomb for ICBM as part of efforts to attain the final goal of completing the state nuclear force" and Kim Jong Un signed the order for conducting the test.

Also discussed at the Presidium were detailed ways and measures for containing the U.S. and other hostile forces' vicious moves for sanctions against the DPRK and for making tasks of different fields set forth at the 7th Congress of the WPK be implemented with success. 

DPRK Nuclear Weapons Institute on Successful Test of H-bomb for ICBM

The Nuclear Weapons Institute of the DPRK gave the following statement in connection with the perfect success in the test of a hydrogen bomb for ICBM:

Scientists in the nuclear field of the DPRK successfully carried out a test of H-bomb for ICBM in the northern nuclear test ground of the DPRK at 12:00 on September 3, true to the Workers' Party of Korea's plan for building a strategic nuclear force.

The H-bomb test was carried out to examine and confirm the accuracy and credibility of the power control technology and internal structural design newly introduced into manufacturing H-bomb to be placed at the payload of the ICBM.

The result of the experimental measurements showed that the power specifications of nuclear warhead including total explosion power and fission to fusion power rate and all other physical specifications reflecting the qualitative level of two-stage thermo-nuclear weapon fully complied with design figures. It was also confirmed that even though the recent test was carried out with the bomb of unprecedentedly big power, there were neither emission through ground surface nor leakage of radioactive materials nor did it have any adverse impact on the surrounding ecological environment.

The test re-confirmed the precision of the compression technology and the fission chain reaction start control technology of the first system of the H-bomb and proved once again that the nuclear material utility rate in the first system and the second system reached the levels reflected in the design.

Symmetrical compression of nuclear charge, its fission detonation and high-temperature nuclear fusion ignition, and the ensuing rapidly boosting fission-fusion reactions, which are key technologies for enhancing the nuclear fusion power of the second-system of the H-bomb, were confirmed to have been realized on a high level. This helped prove that the directional combination structure and multi-layer radiation explosion-proof structural design of the first system and the second system used for the manufacture of the H-bomb were very accurate and the light thermal radiation-resisting materials and neutron-resisting materials were rationally selected.

The test helped draw the conclusion that the Korean-style analytic method and calculation programs for the complicated physical processes occurring in the first and second systems were put on the high level and that the engineering structure of the H-bomb as a nuclear warhead designed on the Juche basis including the structure of the nuclear charge of the second system was creditable.

The test once again confirmed the reliability of the concentration-type nuke detonation control system fully verified through a nuclear warhead detonation test and test-launches of various ballistic rockets.

The perfect success in the test of the H-bomb for ICBM clearly proved that the Juche-based nukes of the DPRK have been put on a highly precise basis, the creditability of the operation of the nuclear warhead is fully guaranteed and the design and production technology of nuclear weapons of the DPRK has been put on a high level to adjust its destructive power in consideration of the targets and purposes. It also marked a very significant occasion in attaining the final goal of completing the state nuclear force.

The Central Committee the WPK extended warm congratulations to the scientists and technicians in the nuclear field in the northern nuclear test ground on their successful H-bomb test for ICBM.

Kim Jong Un Gives Guidance to Nuclear Weaponization

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un guided the work for nuclear weaponization on the spot.

He was greeted by senior officials of the Department of Munitions Industry of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and scientists of the Nuclear Weapons Institute before being briefed on the details of nuclear weaponization.

The institute recently succeeded in making a more developed nuke, true to the strategic intention of the WPK for bringing about a signal turn in nuclear weaponization.

He watched an H-bomb to be loaded into new ICBM.

Saying that he felt the pride of indomitably bolstering up the nuclear forces at a great price while seeing the Juche-oriented thermonuclear weapon with super explosive power made by our own efforts and technology, he expressed great satisfaction over the fact that our scientists do anything without fail if the party is determined to do.

He acquainted himself with technical specifications and structural and operational characters of the H-bomb.

The scientists further upgraded its technical performance at a higher ultra-modern level on the basis of precious successes made in the first H-bomb test.

The H-bomb, the explosive power of which is adjustable from tens kiloton to hundreds kiloton, is a multi-functional thermonuclear nuke with great destructive power which can be detonated even at high altitudes for super-powerful EMP attack according to strategic goals.

All components of the H-bomb were homemade and all the processes ranging from the production of weapons-grade nuclear materials to precision processing of components and their assembling were put on the Juche basis, thus enabling the country to produce powerful nuclear weapons as many as it wants, he said.

Noting that the scientists, technicians, workers, soldiers and officials in the atomic power industry, who have made devoted efforts to raising the level of nuclear weaponization up to its perfection as intended by the Party, are creditable "nuclear combatants" of the Party who are upholding its line of simultaneously developing the two fronts with the strongest nukes, he highly praised their exploits.

Underlining the need for the institute to dynamically conduct the campaign for successfully concluding the final-stage research and development for perfecting the state nuclear force, he set forth important tasks to be fulfilled in the research into nukes.

Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Active Secretaries of Primary Organizations of KPA Youth League

Respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un had a photo session with the participants in the fourth conference of active secretaries of primary organizations of the youth league of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

He warmly congratulated the secretaries of primary organizations and young officials of the youth league of the KPA who are fully demonstrating the resourcefulness and bravery of youngsters at the posts standing guard over the homeland and at major sites for building a socialist power, while actively defending, explaining and implementing the Workers' Party of Korea's idea of prioritizing the youth and arousing soldiers into heroic feats.

Expressing expectation and conviction that the participants in the conference would turn the primary organizations of the youth league of the army into elite vanguard ranks in the flames of the Songun revolution and creditably fulfill the sacred mission and duty they have assumed before the times and the revolution in the van of the Korean youth movement as required by the modeling of the whole army on Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, he had a photo session with them.

Present at the photo session were leading officials of the KPA General Political Bureau including Hwang Pyong So.

FM Spokesman Rejects "Presidential Statement" of UNSC

A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on August 31 as regards the fact that the U.S. and its vassal forces rigged up a "presidential statement" of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) condemning the intermediate-range strategic ballistic rocket launching drill of the Strategic Force of the Korean People's Army (KPA):

On August 30, the UNSC released a "presidential statement" distorting the truth as if the DPRK's launch of intermediate-and-long range strategic ballistic rocket Hwasong-12 undermined regional peace and stability and caused grave security concerns around the world.

The DPRK categorically rejects the "presidential statement" of UNSC that flagrantly violated the right to self-defence of a sovereign state.

We had already warned the U.S. that we would be closely monitoring its conduct. The intermediate-and-long range strategic ballistic rocket launching drill carried out by the Strategic Force of the KPA this time is only a curtain raiser to the resolute countermeasures to be taken against the U.S. as it responded to our warning by waging belligerent Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises.

The said drill is the first step taken by the KPA in its Pacific operation and a meaningful prelude to restraining Guam, the front-line base for invasion.

The U.S. had denied the DPRK's proactive measures to defuse the extreme tension and acted with imprudence. It is another lesson learned by the DPRK that only actions speak to the U.S., not polite words.

The revolutionary armed forces of the DPRK shall conduct many more of ballistic rocket launching drill targeting the Pacific to further modernize and increase the actual combat efficiency of its strategic force. 

National Peace Committee of Korea Warns S. Korean Authorities Not to Run Reckless

Hwasong-12 rocket launched by the DPRK at dawn of August 29 hit the preset waters in the northern Pacific after flying over the Japanese archipelago.

A spokesman for the National Peace Committee of Korea in a statement Thursday denounced the south Korean puppet forces for raising a hue and cry over the launch, as if a nuclear bomb was exploded in downtown Seoul.

According to the statement, the south Korean authorities are going busy, convening the presidium committee session of the "state security council" and making public a "denunciation statement".

At the instructions of the authorities to "demonstrate strong capabilities of punishment", the puppet forces hastily staged bomb dropping drills by F-15K fighter bombers and resorted to a foolish act of making to public the Hyonmu ballistic missile drilling ground, the statement said, and went on:

In the meantime, they threatened they would introduce nuclear strategic assets of the U.S. and refer the DPRK's ballistic rocket launch issue to the UN Security Council together with the U.S. and Japanese masters, while trumpeting about the "tightened alliance" with the U.S.

The recent ballistic rocket launch drill reminiscent of an actual war is the first step to a military operation in the Pacific conducted by the army of the DPRK and a meaningful prelude to containing Guam, an advance base of the U.S. for aggression, and it is just the beginning of the resolute countermeasures to the war drills staged by the U.S. and its stooges.

We will in the future, too, conduct ballistic rocket launching drill targeting the Pacific where the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces' bases are stationed and show the resolute stand of Juche Korea to the arrogant U.S. in action, not in words.

It should not be forgotten even a moment that whole south Korea can turn into ruins if sabre-rattling is shown before the steel gun barrel of the powerful revolutionary Paektusan army.

The puppet forces should not run reckless, clearly understanding that their insensible acts in reliance on the U.S. which is unable to be responsible for its own fate will only accelerate their self-destruction. 

Joint Appeal Issued

The North, South and Overseas Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification made public a joint appeal on Thursday in connection with the fact that the touch-and-go situation is prevailing on the Korean peninsula due to the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military drills kicked off by the U.S. in south Korea.

The joint appeal calls for expressing firm will to eradicate the root cause of war on the Korean peninsula, safeguard the dignity and the sovereignty of the nation and take the lead in ushering in the new era of peace of the country and its independent reunification. It says:

1. Let us all the compatriots at home and abroad wage a vigorous struggle to oppose the frantic Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises by the U.S. and its vassal forces!

Let us all Koreans turn out as one in the nation-wide anti-U.S. sacred struggle for defending the security and peace of the nation, feeling responsible as the masters of their own destinies and peace!

Let us stage a nation-wide struggle against the attempt to unleash a war by the U.S. introducing THAAD and all other nuclear strategic assets into south Korea!

Let us invigorate the struggle to frustrate the U.S. moves for igniting a nuclear war everywhere fellow countrymen live!

2. Let's wage dynamic nationwide struggle to drive out the U.S. forces out of south Korea!

It is the U.S. invariable ambition to make the Korean peninsula a stronghold for realizing its strategy for putting Northeast Asia under its control. It does not care even though a nuclear war breaks out on this land and tens of thousands of Koreans die. This is the real intension of the U.S.

Let's resolutely reject the U.S. arrogant behaviour of attempting to turn three thousand-ri land of Korea into a nuclear war theatre and offer the Koreans as cannon fodder of a nuclear war, and strikingly demonstrate the nation's dignity and spirit!

Let all the Koreans in the north and the south and abroad turn out in the struggle to immediately drive the U.S. imperialist aggressor forces out of south Korea and achieve the lasting peace of the country!

Let's wage dynamic nationwide movement to make the U.S. forces pay a price for all the crimes it committed against the Korean nation!

3. Lets resolutely foil the acts of serving the U.S. and the moves for escalating confrontation with the fellow countrymen by the forces standing against the reunification at home and abroad!

Today the north-south relations have reached the catastrophe and they fail to make even an inch of advance, and the military tension has reached the height on the Korean peninsula. This is attributable to the south side authorities' servile act of following the U.S. vicious policy hostile toward the DPRK.

The south side authorities have to make a serious option at crossroads of pursuance of outsiders, national independence, peace and prosperity.

Let's never tolerate the vicious traitorous act of leaving the destiny of the nation and its interests to the tender mercy of outsiders but thoroughly reject it!

Let's denounce the vicious policy of serving the U.S. and the policy of submitting to outsiders and maintain firm stand of national independence and the stand of giving priority to the nation and attaching importance to it!

Let all the Koreans in the north and the south and abroad get firmly united, foil the U.S. and its followers' frantic moves for provoking a nuclear war and usher in the new era of peace and independent reunification of the country! 

U.S. Top Military Officials' Junkets to S. Korea Branded as War Junkets

A spokesman for the Pan-Korean Emergency Measure Committee for Opposing Nuclear War Drills against the DPRK issued a statement Thursday to denounce the U.S. military brass-hats for inciting war hysteria in south Korea at a time when the situation on the Korean peninsula is getting tense with each passing moment due to the Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises.

U.S. Pacific Command chief Harry Harris, Strategic Command head John Hyten and Missile Defence Agency Director Samuel Greaves allegedly in charge of military operations in case of emergency on the Korean peninsula nearly simultaneously flew into south Korea and had confabs for escalating confrontation with the DPRK with puppet Defense Minister Song Yong Mu, Chairman of the puppet Joint Chiefs of Staff Jong Kyong Du and other stooges. They also went busy, visiting the drilling grounds for a war against the north and doing the field check-up, the statement said, and went on:

This proves that the U.S. top military officials' south Korean junkets are the ones for war of aggression aimed to finally confirm in field the scenario for a war against the north and put it into practice by instigating the puppet forces.

What is ridiculous is that after dispatching those top military officials into the south even though it finds itself already on the decline, the U.S. is describing it as a "serious warning message to the north".

We view those military brass-hats as no more than tiger moths plunging into the flame.

The U.S. should clearly understand with whom it is standing against and stop running as reckless as digging its own grave of destruction.

We will never remain on-lookers to the present situation inching close to the point of worst explosion due to the U.S. senseless hysteria, but will take stronger countermeasures.

The war-thirsty tiger moths buoyed by hysteria for a war against the north will never be able to evade the miserable fate of meeting deaths in the flame kindled by them.
