KCNA COMMENTARY TERMS U.S. WORST CYBER ATTACKER

Pyongyang, April 2 (KCNA) -- The chairman of the U.S. House Homeland Security Committee at a seminar sponsored by the U.S. Centre for Strategic and International Studies on Mar. 17 had the effrontery to admit that it was the U.S. which mounted a cyber attack on the computer network of the DPRK in December last year. U.S. agents already infiltrated into the computer network of the DPRK several years ago and have run the whole gamut of base espionage to obtain information about its nuclear development, etc. Truth behind such espionage has already been exposed to the world by a declassified document of the U.S. National Security Agency, testimonies made by former senior officials of the U.S. administration and U.S. media. The targets of U.S.-sponsored cyber terrorism are not confined to the DPRK. Cyber attacks are made by the U.S. against most of the countries and regions in the world including anti-U.S. countries, such regional powers as Russia and China, Germany and other competitive allies of the former. It was none other than the U.S. which perpetrated state-sponsored cyber terrorism, the first of its kind, by mounting a cyber attack by use of the malignant virus Stuxnet upon the computer network of an Iranian nuclear power plant in 2010. It was again the U.S. that is working hard to turn cyberspace into a theatre of war. Heads of state and government organs and key businesses of various countries have become targets of the NSA's wire-tapping. Confidential information being stored in governments' and personal computers are being hacked by U.S. agents to help the White House shape its policies. Such hacking attack of the U.S. is an act for igniting a war of aggression as it is aimed at carrying out its cyber military strategy to all intents and purposes. The keynote of the strategy being pursued by the U.S. is to mount a preemptive cyber attack on a certain target through internet. To this end, the U.S. already advanced the conception of cyber warfare early in the 1990s and has stepped up arms race and preparations for a cyber war in real earnest in a bid to carry out its military strategy in cyberspace under the pretext of "protecting national interests". The cyber warfare command was organized by the U.S. navy in December, 2002. And this was followed by the formation of cyber warfare units in its air force and army. The U.S. Cyber Command was set up in 2010 to command in a unified manner all the military actions concerning cyber warfare. Obama signed a secret presidential order concerning the U.S. cyber operation policy in October 2012. Pursuant to it, the U.S. Department of Defense is developing new type weapons that can jam and paralyze military computer systems of other countries although they are not connected to the internet. As seen above, the U.S. is zealously stepping up preparations for large-scale cyber attacks on other countries, blinded by its wild ambition to dominate the world. Explicitly speaking, the U.S. cyber military strategy is a thrice-cursed crime as it triggers world-wide race for cyber warfare and throws the world into mayhem. The U.S. has often made much fuss over cyber attack to give impression that it is a victim of cyber terrorism. For example, it kicked up the racket of "imposing additional sanctions" upon the DPRK after deliberately linking it with the cyber attack on the Sony Pictures Entertainment. Such a charade of the U.S. is aimed to create a favorable atmosphere for executing its preemptive cyber war by branding sovereign states, notably, the anti-U.S. independent countries, as cyber attackers. The U.S., though belatedly, should be well aware of the fact that its wild ambition for dominating the world through cyber warfare is no more than a pipe dream. 

SPIES OF S. KOREAN IS CONFESS TO TRUTH BEHIND THEIR ESPIONAGE AGAINST DPRK

Pyongyang, March 26 (KCNA) -- There took place at the People's Palace of Culture on Thursday a press conference with spies of the puppet Intelligence Service of south Korea who were unmasked and arrested while perpetrating espionage against the DPRK under the manipulation of the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group.

Present there were reporters at home and those of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan and foreign correspondents. Foreign diplomatic envoys and staff members of embassies of different countries here attended the press conference as observers. Prior to the conference an official of the Ministry of State Security of the DPRK spoke. He said that Kim Kuk Gi and Choe Chun Gil, spies of the puppet Intelligence Service, who were unmasked and arrested while committing espionage, are the heinous terrorists who worked hard to do harm to the supreme leadership of the DPRK.

He went on: They zealously took part in the anti-DPRK smear campaign of the U.S. imperialists and the puppet group of traitors to isolate and blockade the DPRK in international arena by labeling it "a country printing counterfeit notes" and "sponsor of terrorism" while pulling it up over its "human rights issue."

They gathered information about the DPRK's party, state and military secrets by leaving no means untried under the manipulation and with the backing of the U.S. and the IS and made desperate efforts to spread bourgeois lifestyle and culture in the DPRK. Kim Kuk Gi, who worked as an ambush spy in Dandong, China for over decade, stated his case at the conference.

According to his statement, born in Ryongun-dong, Tonggu, Taejon City of south Korea on July 23, 1954, he operated an underground church in Dandong City from Sept. 1, 2003. Since then, he moved his residence several times and lived in Dandong from 2011 to 2014.

In the underground church, he conducted a religious propaganda against the DPRK before dozens of Koreans in China and private travelers. He was bribed by Hwang Jae Yong, department director of the IS who was in charge of anti-DPRK espionage in the DPRK-China border area in Sept. 2005 before providing information to him. He was registered in the IS with such spy name as "Sin Song Guk" and such number as "No. 101" from July 20, 2006 and acted as a professional spy.

He among other things systematically gathered important state secrets related to the supreme leadership of the DPRK and provided them to the IS. He thus zealously joined in state-sponsored political terrorism of the U.S. and the south Korean authorities against the DPRK.

For example, in Nov. 2009, he gathered and provided important secret information about a railway station which the top leader of the DPRK passed to visit China, photos of its vicinity and his health condition.

After receiving an instruction that the top leader might visit China by train in August, 2010, he went to a border area and photographed the process of railway project being undertaken by the Chinese side and the area near railways of the north side. He gathered and offered such information as the date of China visit, time of train and departure and arrival stations and received tens of thousands of U.S. dollars as a reward for it.

He also committed grave crimes by building up a spy network in Dandong, systematically gathered and provided the north's party, state and military secrets and information about happenings there, thereby zealously joining the U.S. and the south Korean authorities in their hostile acts against the DPRK.

He enlisted local persons, private travelers of the north and Chinese residents in the DPRK, more than ten in all, as his agents and built up a spy network. He assigned agents the tasks for gathering information and gave them spy apparatuses, gathered important secrets by way of paying rewards for every piece of information. In this way he systematically provided it to the IS.

The information included tendencies of important cadres of the DPRK and their careers, heads of institutions at all levels and their organizational system, military tendencies, change of military cadres, military bases, information about nuclear weapons, winning over members of the north side's missions in China and those on business tour, price fluctuation, undesirable video clips and photos.

He also committed serious crimes by manufacturing and distributing copies of literature against the DPRK and conducted religious propaganda for the purpose of destabilizing and bringing down the DPRK.

Copies of literature included dozens of cartoon books, amusement CD and SD cards defaming the authority of the supreme leadership of the DPRK, leaflets giving impressions that there were taking place anti-government riots in the DPRK and video clips recording testimonies made by "defectors from the north".

Cartoon books insulting the supreme leadership of the DPRK were either directly produced by the IS or made by Kim Kuk Gi with the help of computer. He kept many video clips dealing with human rights issues in the north which he obtained from Hwang Jae Yong, and gave them to agents frequently for their distribution in the north.

While guiding the tour of Dandong by the media group, a professional plot-breeding organization against the human rights of the DPRK operating at a university in Hawaii in June-July, 2007, he made religious literature together with them, received hundreds of MP4s containing false data made by them and spread them in the DPRK.

He was involved in the operation of the anti-DPRK underground religious organization which was formed for the purpose of setting up a "religious state" in the DPRK between April 2005 and July 2006. Many religious organizations are involved in the false propaganda against the DPRK at present.

Crimes of Kim Kuk Gi were manifested in producing counterfeit notes of the north to weaken its economy and bring people's mindset into confusion. Spy apparatuses and equipment and undesirable e-media used and spread by him against the DPRK with the help of the IS over the past 10-odd years numbered more than 500 of 25 kinds. He also received a colossal amount of money for gathering information and purchasing spy apparatuses and equipment and used them for espionage.

Then questions were put by reporters.

Kim Kuk Gi said that he was hired by the U.S. and the IS to be a spy and committed espionage against the DPRK by premeditated and organized orders and exposed the anti-DPRK espionage bases in Dandong and those related to them. According to him, there are nearly 30 bases of the IS in Dandong alone.

There are 12 shops, namely "Tongbang Shop", "Kkoma Foodstuff", "Myongsong Foodstuff", "Hyesong Foodstuff", "Ryongchon Shop", "Song-un Shop", "Myongga Foodstuff", "Uri Foodstuff Shop", "Aenicol", "Yethae Goods Shop", "Kanaan Foodstuff Shop", "LG Pyokji Shop".

Among restaurants are "Hyonghwawon", "Folk Village", "Tonghae Restaurant", "Kini Restaurant", "Rakwon Rice Cake Restaurant", "Kimbap Chonguk", "Mama Samgyethang", "Jongwabok", "Bean Curd Restaurant", "Kimgane Restaurant", "Changbai Restaurant" and "Vision Restaurant".

Trading enterprises are Taehwa Trade and Tongbang Trade, hospitals are Dandong Saem Hospital (Christian hospital) and hotels are Prima Hotel and Kangbyon Hotel. He said in detail about names, ages, nationalities, jobs, residences and others of those who are residing in Dandong or frequently visiting it to commit espionage against the DPRK.

By order of the IS in May 2010, he built a secret printing base and printed 100 pieces of counterfeit notes ranging from 5 won to 500 won each in September that year and put them into three bags. He infiltrated them by way of handing them over to other agent through personal belongings box in Shenyang. Afterwards, he printed and handed over thousands of pieces of counterfeit notes several times by the same method.

In conclusion, he said that his crimes were organized, systematic, conspiratorial state politically-motivated terrorism and acts to overthrow the state. He urged the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to stop at once espionage against the DPRK and the unbiased media of the world to positively respond to it. Next, Choe Chun Gil, a spy of the IS who committed espionage against the DPRK while residing in Dandong, China, made a statement.

According to him, he was born in Hyoja-dong, Chunchon City, south Korean Kangwon Province on September 19, 1959. He left south Korea in 2003 and lived in China. Since July, 2011 he was hired by the "section chief surnamed Kim", an agent of the IS, in Shenyang to be his agent going by the name of "Mr. Ko" and committed espionage against the DPRK.

Between August, 2011 and October, 2012 he received instructions from the "section chief surnamed Kim" that he should not miss even the slightest information about the north and should channel all efforts into gathering information about the movements of the top leader of the DPRK, in particular.

By the order for gathering military secrets of the DPRK, he sent radium sample through a resident of the DPRK surnamed Ri in March 2012 and let Kim, a Chinese resident in the DPRK, photograph a double glass bottle carrying major element particles used in the defence field and send it to the IS.

After receiving an order for digging out and obtaining earth around Nyongbyon area between October, 2012 and April 2013, he gave the task to three inhabitants of the north.

He dispatched Yun, a Chinese resident in the DPRK, to Nyongbyon several times, let him gather data on munitions factories of the DPRK and leading officials of the factories and photograph aircraft bunkers, airfields and new type tanks.

He disclosed the "Kkotdoeji operation" he learned from an agent of the IS. It is aimed to purchase all things used in the People's Army including military uniforms so that they can be used when airborne and paratroop units of the south infiltrate into the DPRK. He handed over military uniforms of officer and non-commissioned officer of the People's Army and a soldier identification card to an agent through two inhabitants of the DPRK and one Chinese resident in the DPRK.

He also gathered information about tendencies of inhabitants to the DPRK government, market situation and living conditions and reported them to the "section chief surnamed Kim". He fabricated and sent information needed for cooking up "Choe Myong Hak spy case" at the end of October, 2012 in a bid to conduct a smear campaign to do harm to the DPRK and bribed one citizen of the DPRK and one Chinese resident in the DPRK for gathering information which could be used for false propaganda about "human rights" situation in the DPRK.

His crimes included acts of destabilizing the DPRK and luring North’s inhabitants to south Korea. When Yun, Chinese resident in the DPRK, was going back to the DPRK in March, 2012, he gave Yun more than 50 CDs and 2 USBs containing sex films and south Korean movies in a bid to copy and spread them inside the DPRK.

He sent two inhabitants of the north and three Chinese residents in the DPRK who privately toured Dandong to Prof. Kim, priest of south Korea, and a housemaid of Korean nationality in Longjing, China, in a bid to give them religious education. Then, he assigned them task to build an "underground church" in the DPRK. He lured a woman from the north working in Shenyang in June, 2011 and nine men, 13 women and six children of the inhabitants of the north to south Korea. He did such work five times until 2013 after receiving the order from the IS.

Answering the questions by reporters, Choe Chun Gil disclosed the U.S. and the south Korean authorities' burlesque to label north Korea "a country producing narcotics" and "a country printing counterfeit notes" and their fabrication of "Choe Myong Hak spy case" and "written loyalty of Ri Man Jun." During the press conference, its attendants watched videos showing photos and statements of witnesses proving the anti-DPRK espionage of the IS spies.

U.S. Harsh Sanctions against DPRK Will Entail Catastrophic Consequences: Rodong Sinmun

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Early in January this year Obama issued a "presidential executive order" to impose additional sanctions upon the DPRK over the cyber-attack on the Sony Pictures Entertainment. The International Relations Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives adopted a bill on ratcheting up sanctions against the DPRK in February.

Rodong Sinmun Saturday in a commentator's article notes in this regard:

The U.S. administration and Congress are vying with each other in slapping sanctions against the DPRK. This is something rare to be seen in the past.

Washington's one-sided policy for ratcheting up the sanctions against the DPRK is no more than the last resort chosen by it from the calculation that it can neither check the latter's bolstering of nuclear deterrent nor disturb its economic growth through power-backed pressure only. It is also a last-ditch effort to block the DPRK's successful advance by slapping harsher sanctions against it.

From the outset of this year, the U.S. has got frantic with its moves to pressurize the DPRK by force and sanctions in a bid to lead it to "earlier changes."

The sinister design of the U.S., an empire of devils, to wipe the DPRK, a sovereign state, off the world map by igniting even a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula is being revealed with each passing day.

Washington set it a policy and a law to ratchet up its sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK. It is working with bloodshot eyes to establish an international cooperation system for enforcing them while floating a story about "nuclear threat" from the latter.

Under the prevailing situation where the U.S. is recklessly pursuing the above-said policy after throwing away even the double-dealing policy of dialogue and pressure it much touted in the past, the DPRK clarifies once again its unshakable stand reflecting the towering resentment of its service personnel and people at the U.S. and their confidence in sure victory as follows:

Firstly, the above-said U.S. policy precisely means a declaration of war against the DPRK and it is the latter's resolute determination to conclude its decades-old showdown with the former with nukes.

Secondly, the U.S. foolish acts of tightening collusion and nexus with other countries, pulling up the DPRK over its "nuclear issue", will only bring earlier the latter's great war for national reunification.

Thirdly, the further the U.S. ratchets up sanctions to pressurize the DPRK, the higher the latter will hold the banner of the line of simultaneously developing the two fronts to hasten its final victory.

If the U.S. persists in its policy for ratcheting up sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK, it will be bound to face an unimaginable catastrophe. This is a solemn warning served by the DPRK.

DPRK-Japan Friendship Association Accuses Japanese Reactionaries' Crackdown upon Chongryon

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The Japanese joint police investigation headquarters conducted a surprise search operation against the houses of the officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) including the chairman and vice-chairman of its Central Standing Committee on March 26. The headquarters includes police of Kyoto Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimane Prefecture.

The Japanese investigation authorities alleged "Chongryon was likely to have violated the foreign exchange law" when conducted the forcible search only to end up with no positive material evidence.

The DPRK-Japan Friendship Association Saturday in a statement denounced the search as illegal investigation in breach of international law, to say nothing of Japan Constitution and criminal procedure law. The statement said:

So far, the Japanese reactionaries have committed unwarranted crackdown upon Chongryon and Koreans in Japan against law. But it is the first time that they targeted the chairman and vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, who are deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK.

The recent serious case in Japan, which styles itself a "law-governed state" and "democratic state", is an unpardonable provocation and serious infringement on sovereignty of the DPRK.

It was carried out by the order of Japan Police Agency and with a search-warrant issued by the judicial authorities. These facts prove that the Japanese government authorities are entirely responsible for the unreasonable search.

The Japanese reactionaries are now making desperate efforts to create a springboard for accelerating their moves to make Japan lurch to the right and fascist and realizing their ambition for emerging a military giant while taking the advantage of the U.S. frantic anti-DPRK moves.

The Korean nation will never pardon the Japanese reactionary forces' desperate suppression of Chongryon aimed at pushing the DPRK-Japan relations to a catastrophe once again.

If the Japanese authorities sincerely want the improved DPRK-Japan relations, they should stop at once the crackdown upon Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

Korea-Japan Society for Interchange Censures Suppression of Chongryon

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The Korea-Japan Society for Interchange in a statement Saturday hit out at the Japan Police Agency's search of the houses of the chairman and vice-chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) who are deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK on Mar. 26.

The unwarranted anti-DPRK and anti-Chongryon act that activated tens of police and armored cars is touching off strong protest and denunciation and towering resentment. The statement said:

The despicable act that is timed to coincide with the U.S. vicious anti-DPRK "human rights" campaign is apparently pursuant to the U.S. scenario. The U.S. tries to strangle the DPRK with severe "sanctions", talking about "collapse of its social system".

Japan which styles itself a "law-governed state" committed the bullying act, intentionally charging Chongryon with suspicious involvement in a case without legal and scientific validity, not content with working as a shock brigade in carrying out the U.S. anti-DPRK "human rights" campaign. This can never go unnoticed.

Chongryon is a legitimate overseas citizens' organization of the DPRK advocating all democratic and national rights of the Koreans in Japan, and it plays the role of the DPRK mission abroad as the two countries have no diplomatic relations.

The Society strongly denounces the suppression of the leading officials of Chongryon as a serious human rights abuse and an intolerable infringement on the sovereignty of the DPRK.

Japan has not made any proper redemption for its past crimes against humanity, 70 years since its defeat in the war. It is greatly mistaken if it thinks it can go scot-free after suppressing Koreans in Japan.

The Japanese authorities have to apologize for the fascist act and punish those responsible.

If this incident has adverse impacts on the implementation of the DPRK-Japan Pyongyang Declaration and the Stockholm agreement, Japan will have to hold full responsibility.

Japanese Reactionaries' Crackdown upon Chongryon Accused

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- The Japanese police authorities on March 26 conducted a surprise search operation against the houses of the officials of the General Association of Korean Residents in Japan (Chongryon) including the chairman and vice-chairman of its Central Standing Committee by hurling the joint investigation headquarters made up of various police headquarters of Kyoto Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, Yamaguchi Prefecture and Shimane Prefecture.

They completely blocked off the house of the chairman, in particular, and searched it, by mobilizing more than twenty policemen and an armored car and bringing media persons of Japan to the scene, creating a terror-ridden atmosphere.

The Committee for Aiding Overseas Compatriots of Korea Friday issued a statement in which it vehemently denounced the Japanese reactionaries' brutal crackdown upon Chongryon.

The statement said:

The forcible search was an unprecedented illegal one contradictory to the Japan constitution and criminal procedure law and an unpardonable human rights abuse against the Koreans in Japan and national discrimination.

Even legal experts and fair-minded media persons of Japan are skeptical about the legal validity and political purpose of the search operation and censuring its injustice.

Chongryon is a dignified overseas organization of the DPRK and the infringement upon it and Koreans in Japan is, therefore, the one on the sovereignty of the DPRK.

Quite clear is the political aim sought by the Japanese authorities in the fascist action taken by them with police forces involved.

That is the sinister political trick to fan up the sentiment against the DPRK, Chongryon and Koreans in the Japanese society in a bid to quell the call of progressives for Japan's apology and reparation for its imperialists' past colonization and justify its lurch to the right.

It is a product of its political plot to extend again its unilateral "sanctions" against the DPRK by all means and methods and deliberately stem the trend of the times for improving the DPRK-Japan relations.

The Japanese authorities should make apology to Chongryon and the DPRK for their rash and reckless search and behave themselves, clearly mindful that their persecution and crackdown upon Chongryon are self-destruction as they push the DPRK-Japan relations to rock bottom.

Spokesman for FM of DPRK Categorically Rejects Anti-DPRK "Human Rights Resolution"

Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK released a statement Saturday lashing out at the U.S. and its allies including Japan and EU for railroading the anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" through the 28th session of the UN Human Rights Council.

The U.S. and its allies, Japan and EU, and other forces rammed the anti-DPRK "human rights resolution" through the 28th session of the UN Human Rights Council held on Friday despite the unanimous opposition of the world progressive countries aspiring after guarantee of genuine human rights and establishment of a fair world order, the statement said, adding:

The DPRK vehemently denounces the farce staged at the UN human rights arena as a product of the U.S. hostile policy toward the former and clarifies once again its firm will to thoroughly smash the noisy "human rights" racket kicked off by the hostile forces.

The adoption of the "resolution" once again brought to light the ulterior design of the U.S. and other hostile forces to hurt the dignity of the DPRK and tarnish its image by making much fuss about its groundless "human rights issue" and to invent a pretext for perpetrating intervention and aggression against it at any cost.

It has already been fully exposed to the world that the "human rights issue" of the DPRK which had been cooked up by the lackeys of the U.S. wearing the mask of "protecting human rights" and noisily advertised by the U.S. and other western countries on the basis of the "testimonies" made by "defectors from the north", human scum bereft of elementary quality and conscience as human beings, was no more than a fabrication.

However, the U.S. and its allies staged another farce of adopting "human rights resolution" against the DPRK, repeating their worn-out assertion. This is aimed to get rid of the dilemma in which they are finding themselves by going desperate in their anti-DPRK "human rights" racket and divert elsewhere the world-wide criticism of the human rights abuses perpetrated by them.

The U.S. is saying this or that about human rights performance in other countries while neither setting right nor admitting hideous human rights abuses in its country. This is the height of impudence.

Washington should not poke its nose into the internal affairs of other countries, styling itself the world's "human rights judge," but improve the human rights situation in its own land, the world's worst human rights tundra. Japan and the EU should stop blindly toeing the U.S. line but improve their marred images before the world's eyes.

The U.S. should clearly understand that it is a pipedream to try to bring down the most advantageous socialist system in the DPRK which its army and people regard dearer than their own lives.

Park Geun Hye Slammed for Abusing Cheonan Warship Sinking Case for Confrontation with Fellow Countrymen

Pyongyang, March 29 (KCNA) -- The Park Geun Hye group is inciting confrontation with the DPRK across south Korea five years since Cheonan warship sinking case:

At a "memorial service" for Cheonan warship victims at Hyonchung Cemetery in Taejon on March 26, she said "Cheonan was torpedoed by the north" and admonished the north to "give up reckless provocation" in a foolish bid to make the "north's involvement" in the case an established fact.

She went the lengths of blowing the old trumpet of the "north's nukes dismantlement", saying "the north cannot be protected by nuclear weapons". She even took issue with the just policies and social system in the DPRK, not content with talking about "isolation", "nature" and "true change".

A spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK in the answer to a question raised by newspaper Joson Inmingun on Sunday warned that Park regime's insistence on the story of the "north's involvement" in the sinking and the "May 24 step" will bring stronger curse and denunciation to the regime and make it meet the same miserable fate as traitor Lee Myung Bak did.

Confrontational hysteria was also manifested by her yes-men in the puppet Defense Ministry and Unification Ministry.

The puppet Unification Ministry made a far-fetched assertion that "it has already been clearly proved by the international joint investigation that Cheonan sinking was the north's deed". It urged the need to keep in force the "May 24 step" while talking about "distortion of truth" and "responsible measure".

The puppet minister of Defense made his sudden appearance at a command and control center of the Joint Chiefs of Staff on the lapse of the fifth anniversary of the sinking where he cried out for "tightening military posture" and "getting fully combat-ready to cope with possible provocation by the enemy". The puppet warmongers stage almost every day large-scale naval mobile drills in the West Sea of Korea in league with the U.S. under the pretext of defending the "northern limit line" and "deterring provocations".

Human scum, who announced they would suspend leaflet scattering operation, being taken aback by the physical destruction warning issued by the DPRK, are getting desperate to do the operation again under the patronage of the puppet authorities who claim "freedom of expression" is inviolable "basic right of the people."

The Park regime's wild act over the sinking case has gone beyond imagination.

But, despite Park's vicious racket for "eliminating followers of the north" and "yusin dictatorship" that is getting brutal, south Koreans' assertion that they can not believe the stated "north's involvement" in the Cheonan sinking is outdoing the puppet forces' assertion.

Park's rhetoric about dialogue is nothing but hypocrisy to deceive and mock at the public at home and abroad.

It has become impossible to expect the improvement of the north-south relations as long as confrontational-minded Park and her group are in office in south Korea.

Invariable is our stand that we will never deal with such vicious confrontational maniacs.

Whether Park and her group will be denounced as the second Lee Myung Bak group of traitors and a group of living corpses by all Koreans or not, totally depends on themselves.

Kim Jong Un Gives Field Guidance to Construction Sites of Pickled-fish Processing Factory and Fishery Station

    Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, gave field guidance to the construction sites of the Kumsanpho Pickled-fish Processing Factory and the Kumsanpho Fishery Station.

    Feasting his eyes on Nunggum Islet on which the factory and station will appear, he said that the construction of the aquatic products-processing base for the service personnel and people on the islet located in the main fishing ground in the West Sea of Korea would have been unthinkable without the immortal exploits of leader Kim Jong Il.

    Going round various places of the construction sites to learn about it, he set forth the tasks and ways for successfully building the pickled-fish processing factory and fishery station.

    He underscored the need to build well not only the production bases of the factory and station but also all structures for the living of their employees and fishermen so that they may be impeccable in the distant future and represent the era of the WPK.

    He gave instructions to build the factory in such a manner as to distribute equipment, organize production and conduct business activities in a reasonable manner and, at the same time, thoroughly ensure the sanitary safety of the products and put all production processes including the preparations for production, ripening, feeding and packing on an unmanned basis.

    Calling for directing big efforts to solving the issue of electricity for production and living of the employees of the factory and the fishery station, he stressed the need to build a wind and solar power station on Nunggum Islet.

    It was very good to have decided to build them on Nunggum Islet, he said, adding that the longer he watched on the spot the place he saw on a map, the nicer it looked. He proposed naming the factory and station which will appear before long "Kumsanpho Pickled-fish Processing Factory" and "Kumsanpho Fishery Station".

    When the factory and fishery station are built, we will be able to carry out the behests of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il who made efforts to provide the service personnel and people with tasty and highly nutritive pickled fish, he said, adding that the WPK, therefore, discussed and decided on the issue of the construction of them at the last enlarged meeting of its Central Military Commission, regarding it as an important matter.

    The factory and fishery station are important construction projects of the WPK and it assigned the task to the KPA, he said, calling for successfully building them to be proud of before the world so as to completely facelift the area of Kumsanpho.

    He showed such deep loving care as settling on the spot problems arising in the construction so that the soldier-builders may complete the construction of the factory and fishery station in the best quality as scheduled.

    He expressed expectation and belief that the KPA, a standard-bearer and shock force in implementing the party's idea and defending its policies, would successfully wind up the projects without fail till the 70th founding anniversary of the party and thus demonstrate once again the fighting capability of the KPA before the world. 

Kim Jong Un Has Photo Session with Participants in Conference of Sports persons

    Pyongyang, March 27 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, had a photo session with the participants in the Seventh National Conference of Sportspeople.

    He said that the Seventh National Conference of Sportspeople marked an important occasion in bringing about a turning phase in glorifying the undying exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for the development of sports in the country and realizing the party's plan for building a sporting power and extended warm congratulations to the participants on the success of the conference.

    The sports persons who exalted the dignity and honor of the country with gold medals and left praiseworthy traces are sports heroes remembered by our party, the country and its people and genuine patriots, he said. After highly appreciating once again the feats of the participants of the conference, he had a photo session with them.

    Saying that the building of the sporting power is a front to which the party attaches importance in the drive for building a thriving socialist nation and sports persons are standard-bearers and shock brigade standing at the outpost for building the sporting power, he called on all sports persons to fully prepare as ideologically, morally, physically and technically strong persons possessed of the spirit and mettle of Mt. ANTI-DPRK LEAFLETS: OPEN NOTICE OF KPA FRONT-LINE UNITS

Pyongyang, March 22 (KCNA) -- The front-line units of the Korean People's Army decided to send an open notice to the south Korean authorities Saturday which said: The south Korean puppet authorities are egging despicable confrontational villains on to flock to the areas along the Military Demarcation Line and scatter leaflets slandering the DPRK. A few days ago, a group of hooligans more dead than alive who belong to the ultra-right conservative organizations such as the "Alliance for the Movement of Free North" announced they would get balloon-borne anti-DPRK leaflets numbering 500 000 and thousands of DVDs scattered in the air above the DPRK before and after the upcoming March 26th, the 5th anniversary of the sinking of Cheonan warship even with the U.S. "Human Rights Foundation" involved. It is the height of hostility that the south Korean puppet forces still misuse the warship sinking case, that has long been branded as the unprecedented hideous conspiratorial farce, for escalating confrontation with the DPRK by linking the case with it. They are mulling scattering DVDs and USBs containing "The Interview", a reactionary film that has been censured worldwide for seriously hurting the dignity of the supreme leadership of the DPRK. This is the gravest politically-motivated provocation against the DPRK and a de facto declaration of a war against it. Their reckless acts are aimed at deliberately escalating tension on the Korean peninsula where the situation has reached the brink of a war due to Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint war rehearsals. All the firepower strike means of the front-line units of the KPA will launch without prior warning indiscriminate operations to blow up balloons carrying those leaflets. Whether scattering operations are conducted in areas along the MDL or in any point of sea or in the air, whether balloons or drones are used for those operations and whether they are carried  out openly or secretly, they will never escape strikes of firepower strike means of the KPA to be involved in the operations for blowing up the balloons. Powerful firepower strike means deployed in the front line units will go into action. Any challenge to the DPRK's just physical countermeasures will entail double and treble merciless retaliatory strikes. Inhabitants of the south side in the areas close to or bordering the MDL are recommended to evacuate in advance for their safety if the above-said leaflet scattering operations are conducted. We do not want to see innocent inhabitants of the south side suffer any slight harm due to the reckless acts of the confrontational villains. The south Korean puppet authorities will be held fully accountable for all the catastrophic consequences to be entailed by their leaflet scattering operations.

Kim Jong Un Makes Public Treatise to Mark Centenary of Birth of Kim Il Sung
Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- The dear respected Kim Jong Un made public treatise titled "The Great Comrade Kim Il Sung Is the Eternal Leader of Our Party and People" on April 20 to mark the centenary of the birth of President Kim Il Sung.
Kim Jong Un said in his treatise:
The celebrations of the centenary of the President's birth were the Korean people's expression of boundless reverence and noble sense of moral obligation towards him and a grand political festival of all people praising the 100-year-long history of Juche Korea.
It is the greatest honor and pride of the Korean people and happiness of posterity to hold the President in high esteem as an eternal leader as he is revered by the entire Korean nation and the world.
Comrade Kim Il Sung was the most prominent leader and peerlessly great man in the 20th century.
The world does not know such a prominent leader, peerless patriot and great revolutionary as Kim Il Sung who glorified the 20th century as the century of victory in the cause of independence against imperialism, the cause of socialism while enjoying absolute support and confidence of the people from his teens to the 80s with his outstanding idea, leadership ability and noble virtues.
His whole life was the noble life of a popular leader who regarded believing in people as in Heaven as his maxim and embodied it in his ideas and leadership, translating it into a reality.
It was thanks to the leadership of the President that the new historical era, there came the Juche era in which the popular masses once sidelined in history hew out their own destiny by their own efforts in the center of the times and history.
It was a historic event to be specially recorded in the history of human thinking and the revolutionary struggle of the popular masses that the President held aloft the banner of independence and formulated it as the principle and way for making a revolution and put it into practice.
The President steadily developed the relations with foreign parties and states on the principle of independence.
He was an invincible and iron-willed commander and military genius who started the Korean revolution and led it to victory with arms.
He was highly praised and deeply trusted by the world people as an iron-willed commander, outstanding strategist and a symbol of victory in the anti-imperialist struggle as he defeated the formidable enemies, the Japanese and U.S. imperialists who were superior in numerical strength and military technique with politico-ideological, strategic and tactical superiority in the last anti-Japanese revolutionary war and the Fatherland Liberation War.
He was the greatest man whom no one could match in the revolutionary traits and personality.
For a long period since he embarked upon the road of the revolution, he suffered bitterest grief and agony, but he always thought of the revolution only and devoted his all to its victory.
In the course of the protracted revolution, the President protected in a responsible manner the destiny and future of those whom he once made comrades. He took care of tens of thousands of revolutionary soldiers and deeply trusted them and showed every possible loving care for them.
With warm humanity and exceptionally simple and unassuming personality, he took deep care of the people.
He trusted all those who loved the country and the nation and put them forward as eternal companions in the way of working for them.
He, possessed of broad and deep humanity, forged close friendship with many foreign party and state leaders as well as famous political, social and academic figures who aspired after independence.
He had the biggest number of comrades and friends in the world.
The President was the eternal leader of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people and the sun of Juche who laid the eternal foundation for the victorious advance and completion of the revolutionary cause of Juche.
The President founded the great Juche idea, ushering in a new era of the Juche revolution and leading the social revolution at various stages to a shining victory by applying the Juche idea and performing undying feats in all fields of the revolution and construction.
The Korean revolution is making a dynamic advance while working historic miracles in all domains of socialist construction despite unimaginable difficulties and ordeals. This is thanks to the WPK, a revolutionary party of Juche-type, the DPRK, a genuine people's government, and the matchless People's Army which were founded and developed by the President, and the people whom he reared to be strong in thinking and faith.
The single-minded unity of the party, army and people around the leader firmly assures the political stability and solidity of the state and society and it serves as a powerful engine for defending the socialist country and vigorously pushing forward the revolution and construction.
He successfully solved the issue of succession to the revolutionary cause, providing a sure guarantee for the steadfast succession and victorious completion of the revolutionary cause of Juche century after century and generation after generation.

Kim Il Sung and the Banner of Independence

President Kim Il Sung, upholding the banner of independence, rendered immortal services to the times and history.

Having embarked on the road of struggle for the country and people in his early teens, he authored the Juche idea, the gist of which is that the masses of the people are the masters and the driving force of the revolution and construction; in other words, it means that man is the master of his own destiny and has the strength with which to carve out his destiny.

Since then the Korean revolution has vigorously advanced along the road of independence.

In the period of the armed struggle to liberate Korea from the Japanese military occupation, he ensured that the guerrillas kept the strong conviction that they should fight the Japanese by making themselves weapons and grenades instead of looking forward to aids from others.

The guerrillas waged the arduous armed struggle for over 15 years, holding high the slogan of winning back the country by themselves, and achieved the country’s liberation.

After liberation he made sure that Korea took the road of Korean-style democracy, not adopting other countries’ styles, and vigorously led the struggle to reunify the country divided by foreign forces.

In the grim days of the Korean war (1950-1953) to repel the aggression of the United States he ensured that the service personnel of the Korean People’s Army employed unique tactical methods such as building tunnels and bringing direct-firing guns up to the heights, thus winning victory in the war.

After the war he put forward a unique line of economic construction to give priority to the development of heavy industry and simultaneously develop light industry and agriculture, and led his people to get rid of flunkeyism and dogmatism and take the road of independence.

When other socialist countries persistently forced Korea to join the CMEA, insisting on the “integrated economy” within them, he never vacillated in the slightest nor deviated an iota from the line of building the independent national economy.

In the mid-1980s the trend of “reform” and “openness” was sweeping the socialist countries, but he firmly maintained the independent stand and held up higher the red flag, thus defending the socialist system of Korea reliably even though others abandoned socialism.

Kim Il Sung paid great attention to realize the cause of making the world independent throughout his life.

He gave clear answers to the matters of principle arising in realizing the cause of global independence such as those on maintaining independence in the struggle for peace and fighting against the imperialist forces of aggression with the united efforts of all the peace-loving forces of the world, and on struggling while uniting and vice versa. When Francois Mitterrand, head of the French Socialist Party, visited Korea in February 1981, Kim Il Sung said to him that in order to prevent a new world war, the European countries should not be aligned with any blocs but make themselves independent and neutral, and that they should help the newly-emerging countries to firmly maintain their independence and build theirs into independent, sovereign states.

When he met Utsunomiya Tokuma, Japanese politician, he told him that the global peace would be surely maintained only when all the countries of the world, including European and Asian countries as well as Japan became independent and that it was his ideal for peace.

Kim Il Sung assisted heart and soul other countries in accomplishing their cause of anti-imperialist independence.

Already in the period of anti-Japanese armed struggle for Korea’s liberation he actively assisted the Chinese revolution and defended the former Soviet Union with arms. After liberation he also gave unstinted assistance to the countries and nations in their struggle against imperialism.

The support and assistance given by him to the Algerian people who launched an armed struggle for the national liberation in Africa, known as the Dark Continent and the continent of colonies, wrote a brilliant page in the world history of national liberation struggle.

When the Algerian patriots, encouraged by the victory of the Korean people in the Korean war, waged an armed struggle after forming the National Liberation Front in August 1954, he sent them food and other materials and set the day and the week of Algeria so as to express solidarity with them in their struggle.

When the Provisional Government of the Algerian Republic was established in September 1958, he saw that the DPRK was the first country to acknowledge it and establish diplomatic relations with it.

He also gave energetic and disinterested support and aid to the peoples of Angola, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Namibia in their struggle against colonialism and racism, the Latin American peoples’ struggle against the US imperialists and pro-US dictatorship, Arabians’ struggle against the US imperialists and Israeli Zionists, as well as the Cuban, Vietnamese, Laotian and Cambodian peoples’ struggle against the aggression of the US imperialists, thus greatly inspiring them to bring about historic victories.

The banner of independence upheld by President Kim Il Sung is a great power of strength and encouragement to the Korean people who are achieving eye-opening successes in the socialist construction with a firm stand of independence and also to the progressive peoples of the world who are struggling for the realization of global independence.

Kim Jong Un Watches Drill of KPA Air and Anti-Air Force

    Pyongyang, March 20 (KCNA) -- A drill of raiding and repairing an airfield was staged by the Air and Anti-Air Force of the Korean People's Army (KPA) amid the intensified combat drills of all the service personnel to wipe out the U.S. imperialists and their stooges hell-bent on war exercises against the DPRK.

    Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the KPA, watched the drill.

    The drill was aimed to check and confirm under simulated conditions of an actual war the distribution of air forces to be involved in raiding "enemy" airfield, their striking procedures and methods, bombing and shooting art of pilots, the powers of various air weapons and the ability for repairing destroyed airfield.

    Involved in it were fighter, raider and bomber wings under the Guards 1st Air and Anti-Air Division and 5th Flight Division of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force.

    After being briefed on the decision made by the commander of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force to carry out the task of striking the "enemy" airfield at an observation post, Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un gave an order to start the drill.

    Various types of mine bombs were successively dropped in a brief span of time on the "enemy" airfield in the wake of raiding on its depot, commanding post and runways by using rocket gun shells and unguided rockets.

    Watching the fighters dealing intensive strikes at important posts of the "enemy" airfield, the supreme commander said with great satisfaction that such strikes would utterly shock the enemy forces and praised the pilots for their perfect and thrilling strike.

    Then, followed a drill for repairing the destroyed airfield.

    After the drill, Kim Jong Un gave an important instruction that would serve as guidelines in rounding off the combat preparedness of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force.

    He said that all the fighter pilots should make a steady and profound study of the Juche-based flying combat method, guerrilla-style war method and conduct intensified flight training to acquire high aeronautics, bombing art and marksmanship and get fully familiar with practical war methods and actions.

    Stressing the need to reject formalism and stereotyped patterns and steadily improve contents and forms under the Party's training-first slogan and thus bring about a turn in raising the quality of flight training, he repeatedly urged all the air units to make the high-intensity training a part of daily life and a habit.

    Accompanying him were Hwang Pyong So, Hyon Yong Chol, Jo Kyong Chol, Ri Pyong Chol and Hong Yong Chil. -0-
