Foodstuff-processing Factory under KPA Unit

Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of
the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence
Commission of the DPRK, provided a field guidance to the foodstuff-processing
factory under KPA Unit 534.
Kim Jong Un looked round the room for the education in the revolutionary history and the room dedicated to the history of the unit after being briefed on the factory in front of a map showing its panoramic view.
He looked back with deep emotion on the immortal leadership exploits of leader Kim Jong Il, who initiated the reconstruction of the factory in order to increase the production of varieties of processed foodstuffs including essential foodstuffs for the service personnel and visited it several times when its project was at its height, giving precious instructions to it.
He went round the production control room, e-library and rooms for scientific and technological information.
Then he looked round an essential foodstuff shop, an instant rice shop and various other places of the factory to learn in detail about how production is kept going at a high rate.
To put production processes on an automatic basis at foodstuff factories is an essential requirement for ensuring hygienic safety of foodstuffs.
Looking at varieties of processed food produced at the factory, he gave precious instructions to keep production going at a high rate and improving their quality.
Supply service means a battle for defending socialism, he noted, adding that the foodstuff factories including this factory are standing at the outpost of supply service, that of the battle for defending socialism.
He told the employees of the factory to bear in mind that they are standing alongside service personnel in the same trench for defending socialism.
He set forth tasks for modernly reconstructing the factory as required by the era of Songun and took measures for carrying out the project with loving care.
He had a photo session with the workers of the factory, expressing expectation and conviction that they would successfully perform their honorable duty.

Kim Jong Un Visits East Coastal Supply Base
of KPA Unit
Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) --
Supreme Commander of the Korean People's Army Kim Jong Un, first secretary of
the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence
Commission of the DPRK, provided field guidance to the supply base on the east
coast under KPA Unit 639.
He saw persimmons which the officers and employees there have stored with good care since early in winter of 2011 with yearning for leader Kim Jong Il.
He listened to the poems created by employees there, missing Kim Jong Il very much.
Kim Jong Un looked round different places including public bath, dining room, rest room and refrigerating chamber to acquaint himself with the management activities and business method in the supply base.
He recalled that the base caught a lot of fishes and supplied them to servicepersons and people last year, too, true to his intention, praising it as an enterprise helpful to him.
After being told that the secret of the success lay in actively galvanizing the mental power of the employees, directing efforts to the supply service and putting fishing operations on a scientific basis, cutting down the time of boats' anchorage and consolidating the repair base, he urged other fishery bases to follow the working style and experience of the officials at that unit.
He toured the repair base of fishing boats there.
He was satisfied to learn about the technical specification of the horizontal and vertical shoal finding machine aboard a 200 h.p. fishing boat and the use of spent fuel there.
He was very pleased to hear that the base keeps boats operating not by the method of repairing boats when they go wrong but by the method of always keeping a spare engine for replacing any one out of order with it in a short span of time.
He spared time to meet with a couple of lathe operators working together in the same shop and appreciated their efforts.
The supply base is a model for the whole army, he noted, highly appreciating its success and extending thanks to it on behalf of the Party Central Committee.
Expressing his conviction that the officers, soldiers and employees of the base would serve the country and its people better, he gave a pair of binoculars, automatic rifle and machine gun to the sub-unit directly under the unit as gifts and had a photo session with them.
