Kim Jong Un Gives Field Guidance to Construction Site of Dental Hospital
Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, gave on-the-spot guidance to the construction site of the Dental Hospital near completion.
He was accompanied by Han Kwang Sang, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, and Pak Thae Song, Ma Won Chun and Ho Hwan Chol, vice department directors of the C.C., the WPK.
Going round the construction site, he learnt in detail about the progress made in the construction and issues arising in it.
He made the rounds of the main lobby, hallway, first aid treatment room, room for preparing material, dispensary, shop, etc. on the ground floor of the hospital.
Going round the main lobby and hallway, he said he was pleased that lighting there is designed in such a way as to create a bright and quiet atmosphere. He stressed the need to prepare good furniture for them.
He dropped in at the first aid treatment room where he was very pleased that those who suffer toothache may receive dental treatment any time.
Then he looked round the surgical department, internal department, pediatric treatment room and other places on the first floor.
Going round every treatment room, he learned in detail about the construction work inside the hospital at the final phase. He said that the WPK prepared 30 sets of general dental equipment for the hospital, adding that when they are installed, at least 300 people may be treated in a day.
He repeatedly stressed the need to use quality finishing materials not only for treatment rooms but for corridors and halls to be impeccable according to the design which he had already ratified.
Looking at the children's amusement room in the lobby on the first floor, he said it would be liked by the parents who would visit the hospital together with their children. He instructed builders to finish the construction of the room in line with children's minds.
He went up to the second floor and looked round the meeting room and offices for dentists and nurses, etc. and told the officials to furnish the rooms well for them.
He was greatly satisfied with the construction, saying that the hospital has been constructed in a cozy way and he is pleased with everything. He named the hospital Ryugyong Dental Hospital.
He set forth specific tasks to be fulfilled by the officials accompanying him and those in the field of public health to give finishing touches to the project and successfully operate the hospital.
He expressed expectation and conviction that the builders and officials of the relevant field would successfully complete the construction of Ryugyong Dental Hospital which would bring substantial benefits to people so that it may be opened on the occasion of the WPK's anniversary.

Kim Jong Un Inspects Construction Site of Munsu Swimming Complex
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, inspected again the construction site of the Munsu Swimming Complex.
The soldier-builders are now waging a high-pitched drive day and night, pushing ahead with the project at the final phase in hearty response to the appeal of the supreme commander for successfully completing the construction by Oct. 10, the anniversary of the WPK.
He entered the lobby of the indoor swimming pool where a statue of leader Kim Jong Il will stand and praised painters of the Mansudae Art Studio for having drawn a panoramic picture of the sea shore in perspective.
At the indoor swimming pool with slides he said they look wonderful. It is good it admits sunrays, he added. He told the soldier-builders to paint the pillars of the slides with white color so that they may look fresh and nice.
He told officials to hang a large clock on the wall of the pool and set up sound equipment to add to its cheerful atmosphere.
Going round the dressing room, he said it is necessary to provide it with mirrors and hairdryers, etc. in order to ensure best convenience to the visitors. He also underscored the need to make the floor inclined.
He told them to properly furnish the complex with furniture such as amusement tables in its different places including the balcony of the restaurant.
At the indoor sporting hall where sporting and amusement facilities are available he highly praised the soldier-builders for having successfully built the hall in a brief span of time in hearty response to the order of the supreme commander though it was not included in the original design, adding that it was very good to build the hall in the indoor swimming pool and the KPA carries out whatever task assigned to it.
He noted that if volleyball and basketball courts are built and a springboard is laid in the hall, youth and children will like them.
At the outdoor swimming pool he was satisfied to see the walls of the swimming pool being decorated with pictures of seagulls, dolphins, water drops, etc.
Going round different places of the outdoor swimming pool, he learned in detail about the assembling of various types of slides and the constructed wading pools and highly appreciated the success made in it.
He told officials to build a room for first aid treatment and an observation tower so that rescue measures may be taken. The swimming complex can be inaugurated only when all these conditions are provided, he added.
He underscored the importance of taking thorough measures for protecting the complex in winter.
It is good that the complex is being built in such a way as to ensure the supply of geotherm so that the complex may consume electricity as less as possible, he noted.
He called for planting trees of good species and creating a larger area of lawn inside and around the complex.
Noting that the soldier-builders did a lot of work in just a few days, he said the completion of the complex would dramatically change the appearance of the area of Munsu. I am very pleased to picture it to myself, he added.
Saying that the dramatic change in the appearance of the area of Munsu is a miracle which can be worked only by the KPA possessed of the spirit of unconditionally carrying out any task under any circumstances, he once again highly praised the soldier-builders for their feats.
He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK and director of the General Political Bureau of the KPA, Jang Song Thaek, member of the Political Bureau of the C.C., the WPK, and vice-chairman of the NDC, Pak Thae Song and Ma Won Chun, vice-department directors of the C.C., the WPK.


Kim Jong Un Visits Construction Site of Mirim Riding Club
Pyongyang, September 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, visited the construction site of the Mirim Riding Club.
He went round the indoor riders training hall, service center for riders, outdoor spectators' seats, circular riding training ground, riding school, stables, etc. to learn about the progress made in the construction.
He was greatly satisfied to learn that soldier-builders are pushing ahead with the construction of various buildings qualitatively at the final phase as required by the design of the club and methods of construction.
He was pleased to see the soldier-builders pressing ahead with the construction of the horse-breeding institute and the epizootic hospital at a rapid speed as he instructed them while providing field guidance to the construction site in last August.
Watching soldier-builders covering the outer wall of the building with timber, he underscored the importance of successfully applying antiseptic treatment to it so that the quality of timber is preserved and it is prevented from getting rotten.
He learned in detail about the construction of the earth and sand track and lawn track of the club.
Feasting his eyes with satisfaction on the hedge stretching along the earth and sand track, he said it looks nice. It is better to plant acacia along the line inside the track, he added.
After being told that the track has been built with famous Kaesong weathered gneiss mixed with salt in order to increase the capacity for preserving humidity and sterilization efficacy, he underlined the need to take thorough measures for providing the best convenience to the riders.
Watching the turf track, he said that Songchon golden turf of Korea is the best for riding track as it is strong in vitality and resistance to stamping.
He learnt in detail about greening at the riding club.
He mounted the manmade hill to command a bird's-eye view of the riding club. He stressed the need to plant fir trees which offer foliage in all seasons and maple trees along with flower shrubs.
He said it is good to plant willow trees around the artificial pond which will have artificial falls and beach in order to add to the scenic beauty.
He said that it is important to build a walking road for visitors' stroll on horse and cosy pavilions so that they may have good rest.
It is necessary to steadily push ahead with the work for creating greenery after the construction of the riding club is over, he said. He stressed the need to make good preparations to operate the club as it is near completion.
The anniversary of the WPK is near at hand, he said, expressing expectation and belief that the soldier-builders would unconditionally finish the construction of the riding club as scheduled as it is the WPK's gift to the people.
