Kim Jong Un Guides Flight Drill of KPA Air and Anti-Air Force
Pyongyang, January 24 (KCNA) -- A flight combat drill of fighter and bomber groups under the Guards 1st Air and Anti-Air Division of the Air and Anti-Air Force of the Korean People's Army (KPA) was staged at the initiative of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un.
The stalwart airpersons and all other men and officers of the KPA are now filled with the surging hatred and strong will to bring to the court of history and deal a deadly blow, on behalf of the entire nation, at the vile human scum who have driven such burglars as dirty guys to the anti-DPRK psychological warfare for slandering the dignity and social system of the DPRK to chill the atmosphere in the forefront area with confrontation from the outset of the year, in challenge to Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un's New Year address, and those who have neglected such action in an irresponsible manner.
Prior to the drill, Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un called Col. General Choe Yong Ho, commander of the KPA Air and Anti-Air Force, and Maj. General Choe Hak Song, chief of its staff, to the building of the Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee. And he gave a task for combat flight, including the procedure of the drill and method, personally setting the flight course and coordinates.
The Supreme Commander went to the airfield to guide the flight drill, accompanied by Hwang Pyong So, Ri Yong Gil, O Kum Chol and Ri Pyong Chol.
There he was briefed on the resolve of the Air and Anti-Air Force on how to carry out the combat flight task in relation to the drill and gave the flying groups an order to make sorties.
The flying groups conducted in succession and in a short time the search and strong strike at the simulated enemy's overseas air-force base and fleet attempting at military attack on the DPRK.
After receiving a report on the airmen's successful implementation of assault task, Kim Jong Un said with satisfaction that there is something extraordinary in a guards unit and combat pilots of the unit with a glorious history of victories searched the unfamiliar targets at the right time and skillfully carried out raid on them along the ordered flight course.
Then a free air combat between types of warplanes was staged to shoot down the "enemy's" air pirates intruding into the DPRK's territorial air.
Watching the combat, the Supreme Commander said that it is needed to reject formalism and stereotyped patterns in training and bring a turn in raising its quality by steadily improving contents and styles under the slogan of the Party's air-training-first idea. The significance of the current drill is to make an example for the entire army in carrying out the Party's policy on conducting the training under actual war conditions, he added.
There were flights displaying special skills.
He noted with high appreciation that our pilots of pursuit planes are very good at aeronautics and it is fantastic to see them control planes like their palms.
Then he watched a drill of women pursuit pilots.
He praised them as filial daughters of heroic Korea and heroes of training who displayed the mettle of Korean women once again, saying with satisfaction that they conducted a solo flight in unfavorable weather conditions and landing in an unfamiliar airfield as well as airmen, though it was not so long that they turned to be pursuit pilots.
Telling them to become ace pilots by intensifying the flight training with pluck and guts infused by the Party, he posed for a picture with them, saying that they should be widely introduced to delight their parents and other people.
All the servicepersons of the Guards 1st Air and Anti-Air Division made their firm resolution to wipe out with final annihilating strike, if the Supreme Commander issues an order, the enemies who openly declared the continuous nuclear war drills against the DPRK and have encouraged and connived at the despicable and disgusting deeds to get on the nerves of the DPRK people from the outset of the new year. -0-        (2015.01.24)

DPRK Foreign Ministry Spokesman Blasts Obama's Anti-DPRK Accusations
Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of the DPRK Sunday gave the following answer to the question raised by KCNA as regards a string of accusations again let loose by U.S. President Obama against the DPRK:
When interviewed by YouTube manufacturers on Jan. 22, Obama talked about "system change" while slandering the Korean-style socialist system centered on the popular masses. He poured a whole gamut of accusations, calling the DPRK the most isolated, solitary and authoritarian country and the cruelest and repressed nation. He even talked rubbish that over time internet will find its way to North Korea and the flow of information into it will bring about a change, asserting that they keep exploring ways of speeding up the change.
We cannot but be shocked to find that Obama, president of a "big country," is so preoccupied with the inveterate repugnancy and hostility toward a sovereign state.
The recent wild remarks made by Obama are nothing but a poor grumble of a loser driven into a tight corner in the all-out stand-off with the DPRK.
This is little short of admitting himself that the U.S. lacks ability to stifle the DPRK and that a military option is not workable.
After a series of defeats in its military attempts to stifle the DPRK, the U.S. now turned to internet to undermine the DPRK through the "influx of information".
It is, however, gravely mistaken if it thinks it can break the single-minded unity of the DPRK, which it failed to do with sanctions and pressure, with internet.
The more openly the U.S. presses for the moves to undermine the DPRK, the stronger the single-minded unity of the DPRK will be.
Over time the world will clearly see how the U.S. undergoes decline along with its totally bankrupt hostile policy toward the DPRK. -0-

S. Korean Authorities Should Not Forget All Koreans Watch Them with High Vigilance: NDC Policy Department
Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- The Policy Department of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK made public a statement Sunday in connection with the grim situation now prevailing on the Korean peninsula.
Growing stronger than ever before at present is the unanimous desire of the nation to break with the inglorious past and write a new history of the north-south relations, true to the noble intention of supreme leader Kim Jong Un, peerless great man. World people are also growing strong in their support and encouragement to it in response to the historic appeal for defusing the danger of war and creating a peaceful environment on the Korean peninsula.
But even a basic climate for dialogue has not been created as the north-south relations are not freed from the phase of freeze.
Noting that what is happening at present is very grave, the statement clarified the following principled stand:
    1. The south Korean authorities should stop making willful interpretation of the measures of great significance in the nation's history taken by the DPRK, and wagging their tongues at will.
The great calls made at the outset of the new year reflect the ardent desire to put an end to the 70-year long national division and build earlier on this land a reunified powerful country, dignified and prosperous.
But the south Korean authorities backed by their American master are deliberately interpreting and slandering the measures taken by the DPRK, far from deeply studying them and positively responding to them.
To cite a typical example, they are slandering the precious historic measures hailed by all Koreans as an "option to get rid of international isolation", "the last resort to have economic blockade lifted" and "a peace offensive aimed at stirring up conflict among south Koreans".
They have even gone so blind as to term those measures "proposals little different from the past ones", "measures devoid of sincerity" and "sleight of hand to hold initiative".
It was not out of any calculation that the DPRK took such new measures. It was neither economic difficulties nor isolation and blockade that prompted it to take those measures.
The undesirable and hostile forces should clearly understand that political isolation, economic blockade and military pressure will never work on the DPRK.
We have never been benefited from the U.S. nor have we thought the south Korean authorities would help improve the living standard of our people.
The south Korean authorities should neither misjudge nor make a mockery of the sincere will of the DPRK to put an end to the history of national division, a tragedy being suffered only by the Korean nation in the world.
    2. The south Korean authorities should stop disappointing the nation with their double-dealing words and deeds.
They are now loudly trumpeting about north-south dialogue and the improvement of the relations.
The present chief executive has talked volumes, regardless of time and place, about "steadily stepping up preparations for unification," "creating conditions for holding dialogue of any form", "conducting trial operation of cross-peninsula railways" and holding dialogue and negotiations for "opening three channels for people's livelihood, environment and culture" and giving "priority" to the reunions of divided families and relatives, while calling for "putting an end to the 70 years of severance and conflicts".
Her loud words are quite different from her practical deeds.
South Korea has already made it an established fact to conduct Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises from March and Ulji Freedom Guardian joint military exercises from August as planned while creating impression that they have nothing to do with the removal of the danger of war and the creation of a peaceful climate.
Under the pretext of making full preparations for "taking combined defence posture", south Korea, while currying favor with its American master, has introduced aggression troops including a flying corps of strategic bombers carrying nuclear warheads to its land and vicinity, souring the atmosphere for the improvement of the relations with saber-rattling.
What matters is that such moves are being pushed forward in an undisguised manner as part of preparations for a preemptive attack on the DPRK in the run-up to the 65th anniversary of the conclusion of the shackling and sycophantic south Korea-U.S. "mutual defence pact".
    3. The south Korean authorities should clearly know that in case they persistently refuse to respond to the call of great significance in the nation's history made by the DPRK, they will not be able to escape a stern punishment.
Improving and developing the inter-Korean relations is the task of the times which brooks no further delay.
The south Korean authorities should sincerely respond to our call for opening up a broad avenue to independent reunification by concerted efforts.
Intolerable and unpardonable are the incompetent behaviors of the south Korean authorities criminalizing the just acts to improve the inter-Korean relations and allowing human scum inciting confrontation with fellow countrymen to go scot-free, their poor position of failing to create elementary atmosphere of dialogue and their treacherous acts of joining the U.S. in its moves against national reunification and moves for disturbing dialogue.
It is nonsensical to allow another long period of the tragedy to last, though the nation has spent 70 years in misfortune and pain.
The whole world knows well about the will of the DPRK to mercilessly punish the treacherous, anti-peace and anti-reunification acts of the hostile forces.
The south Korean authorities should ponder over their behavior more than once.
They should not forget even a moment that all Koreans are following all their moves with high vigilance, ready to punish them.
The army and people of the DPRK will resolutely punish the south Korean authorities in case they continue challenging the historic steps taken by it to re-link the severed bonds and blood vessels of the nation and bring about a great change in mending the inter-Korean relations. -0-

KCNA Commentary Demands Nullification of All False "Human Rights" Documents against DPRK
Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and other forces hostile toward the DPRK have worked desperately to do harm to the DPRK by internationalizing and dramatizing its "human rights" issue only to suffer a bitter setback.
"Defector from the north" Sin Tong Hyok whom the U.S. called "a figure symbolic of fierce fight against human rights abuses" and put forward as a stooge in its "human rights" racket admitted his crimes. Sin let loose a whole gamut of slanders and lies while working as a key "testifier" at a time when the "report of the Commission of Inquiry (CI)" on the human rights situation in the DPRK was worked out. The report was used as a key document for "human rights resolution" against the DPRK that was railroaded through a session of the UN General Assembly later last year.
Sin admitted that he told lies and said he would withdraw from the "anti-DPRK human rights campaign."
That meant the total bankruptcy of the U.S. vicious anti-DPRK "human rights" campaign.
The DPRK already made it clear that the "report of the CI" and UN "human rights resolution" were false documents based on testimonies made by those who fled the DPRK after committing crimes.
The undeniable validity of the DPRK's assertion was proved by the confession of Sin, who played a key role in offering false data.
As already known, Sin deserted his parents and motherland, raped a minor and he is the worst crook who used false name and forged his personal history.
He, talking about a "concentration camp of political offenders" which does not exist in the DPRK, tried to give impression that he survived there, a height of hypocrisy and a challenge to justice and truth.
No wonder, an American journalist who authored a book about the non-existent "concentration camp of political offenders" in the DPRK based on the plausible testimonies made by Sin lamented his act in an article contributed to The Washington Post in the wake of Sin's confession.
What matters is that the U.S. shielded such an imbecile.
U.S. State Secretary Kerry and other authorities of the U.S. personally took Sin to international arena as part of their frantic smear campaign against the DPRK. This fully revealed the inside story of the "human rights" campaign under the eyes of the world.
The authorities of the U.S. had no way but to extol the human reject on the international arena only to reveal their pitiful plight.
The UN, too, should be called into question as it played into the hands of the U.S., while dancing to the tune of its smear anti-DPRK "human rights" farce.
Under the pressure and manipulation of the U.S. and its followers, the UN adopted the unprecedentedly infamous "human rights resolution". This has been recorded as the biggest crime that most cruelly violated the sovereignty of a country in the 70-year long history of the UN.
In the light of Sin's confession, all the documents that took issue with the DPRK over its "human rights" performance should be nullified.
It would be a serious miscalculation to think of admonishing and pressing the DPRK on the basis of false documents any further.
It is self-evident that hypocrisy and deception will not work in this bright world.
This century differs from the past one when fascist Germany flouted the public opinion, claiming what it said a hundred times became truth.
Truth is bound to be revealed and those who resort to smear campaign are to be buried in the graveyard of history in face of strong denunciation and censure by the international community. -0-

Kim Jong Un Guides Winter River-Crossing Attack Drill of Armored Infantry Sub-Units of KPA
Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A winter river-crossing attack drill of the armored infantry sub-units of the motorized strike group in the western sector of the front of the Korean People's Army (KPA) was staged at the initiative of KPA Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.
He organized and guided the drill.
He was greeted at the drill ground by KPA Vice Marshal Hwang Pyong So, director of the KPA General Political Bureau, Army General Hyon Yong Chol, minister of the People's Armed Forces, Army General Ri Yong Gil, chief of the KPA General Staff, and other commanding officers of the KPA.
After receiving a report on the schemes of the KPA forces and "enemy" forces at the observation post, he ordered the start of the drill.
After self-propelled artillery pieces of the motorized strike group pounded in succession the bases of the "enemies" with a Juche-oriented artillery fire striking method, combatants mounted a bold attack and advance troops crossed the frozen part of the river unimagined by the "enemies" and wiped out "those enemy forces" who were desperately defending an islet on the river and put the defence lines under control in a twinkle.
Then sub-units ensuring the advance successfully helped sub-units of the motorized strike group cross the river by using various kinds of river-crossing means including floating bridge.
Hwang Pyong So and Hyon Yong Chol commanded the river-crossing operation on an advance armored car and a self-propelled artillery piece.
The commanding officers of the KPA should take the lead in the charge and the battle for crushing the enemies just as those of the guerilla army did, Kim Jong Un said, adding that their order "Follow me!" should resound forth loudly in the combat drill grounds.
He stressed that the KPA should study hard the combat and training methods suited to the features of the theatres for military actions in Korea irrespective of rainy or winter seasons in the future, too, so that all units and sub-units may acquire capabilities to fight actual battles to cross rivers and mountains at a breath.
At the end of the winter river-crossing attack drill of the above-said sub-units, he pointed out merits and demerits manifested in the drill. Underscoring the weighty significance of the drill in carrying out the party's military strategic policy, he instructed the KPA to frequently organize the similar drill in the future.
Noting that a powerful offensive means rock-firm defence, he said only when the KPA is capable of mounting a deadly attack, can it prevent the enemies from behaving flippantly in its eyes on the forefront.

He said that the KPA should prepare all soldiers as a match-for-a hundred fighters capable of fighting actual battles by making their training more intensive just as the anti-Japanese guerrillas did in Mt. Paektu, and should keep itself highly alerted so that it may mercilessly wipe out the aggressors, should they dare make a preemptive attack on the inviolable land of the DPRK, and successfully carry forward the tradition of victory in the confrontation with the U.S. -0-
