Supreme Commander of the
Korean People's Army (KPA) Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea
and chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, gave field guidance
to the Fish Food Factory run by KPA Unit 810.
Visiting the factory in
March last year, he underscored the need to steadily put its modernization and
cultured practice in production and life on a higher level. And he set forth
the tasks for reinforcing modern equipment, putting all its production
processes on an automated and stream-lined basis and turning its compound into
a woodland and orchard and provided it with valuable equipment.
He took hands of the
officials one by one and noted that he was very pleased to hear that the output
at the factory has remarkably increased as it was furnished with modern
equipment. And he gave a high appreciation of the unit, saying that it is ready
to do all what the Party desired.
He went round food
processing shop, fish sorting ground, fish freezing chamber, food storage and
other places of the factory.
He noted that the factory
made a lot of achievements in the work to establish the scientific and rational
fish food production method while successfully introducing a combined control
system for fish food production processes and streamlining the processing,
package and carriage on a high level.
It is admirable that the
factory has run a newly-built sci-tech room on a normal basis to improve the
technical skills of its employees, he said.
The factory has an
important role to play in implementing the Party's intention to supply fresh
fish to servicepersons and civilians all the year round through further
development of pisciculture, he said, advancing the tasks to be carried out by
it.
He gave an instruction that
officials, scientists and technicians of the relevant field should visit the
factory and manufacture modern floating food production equipment for fish
farms.
He is very pleased to see
the factory full of modern equipment and its production potentials is great, he
said, adding that if the factory keeps the production going at a high rate,
enough quality fish food can be supplied to fish farms.
Noting that KPA Unit 810
has registered a lot of successes in the efforts to bring a radical turn in
fish farming as intended by the Party, he said its secret lies in that the unit
is displaying the spirit of unconditionally implementing the Party policy in
hearty response to it. He gave strength and courage to the unit so that it can
steadily play a vanguard role in the drive for developing the country's
pisciculture.
